Our journey begins with a morning meetup at Dehradun Railway Station, where you will be greeted by our Skyhike representative.
From there, we'll begin a scenic drive to Ghuttu, the base camp for the Panwali Kantha Trek.
This picturesque village is located at an altitude of 5100 feet.
The drive covers approximately 180 km and will take 7 to 8 hours to complete, depending on road conditions and stops along the way.
Expect to pass through scenic landscapes, picturesque villages, and winding mountain roads.
Upon arrival in Ghuttu, you will check in to a comfortable homestay, where you can freshen up and relax after the long journey.
The homestay offers basic amenities and a warm, welcoming atmosphere for trekkers.
A home-cooked breakfast and dinner will be served during your stay, allowing you to enjoy the local flavors and prepare for the adventure ahead.
The rest of the day is dedicated to resting and acclimatizing to the altitude before beginning the trek the following day.

After a hearty breakfast at the homestay in Ghuttu, we'll begin the trek towards Pobhagi; our campsite for the day.
The trail stretches for about 9 km and is expected to take around 5 to 6 hours to complete.
The trek will take you through scenic landscapes, with several summer shelters along the way, providing a glimpse of local life in this remote region.
As you ascend, the terrain changes, and you will begin to notice an abundance of Buransh trees.
These trees are known for their beautiful red flowers, which bloom during the spring and summer months..
After reaching Pobhagi, we will set up our camps in a serene and picturesque location.
The campsite offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and forests, providing a perfect spot to relax and unwind after the day's trek.
Enjoy a warm dinner, freshly prepared by our team, and take in the beauty of the evening.
The peaceful surroundings and the crisp mountain air will make for a tranquil night, perfect for resting and preparing for the next day's adventure.
This is a day of natural beauty and serenity, allowing you to experience the charm of the Himalayas while settling into the rhythm of the trek.
After an early breakfast, we begin our trek from Pobhagi towards Panwali Kantha.
The trail today is considered moderately difficult, with some challenging sections, so it’s important to pace ourselves accordingly.
The trek leads us through beautiful meadows (Bugyal), which are known for their lush greenery during the summer.
During the winter months, the meadows are often covered in snow, transforming the landscape into a pristine winter wonderland.
As we make our way to the Panwali Top, the environment changes gradually.
Reaching the Panwali Top (11,500 feet) will reward us with spectacular views of some of the most revered peaks in the Himalayas, including Gangotri, Yamunotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath.
Take some time to soak in the panoramic beauty.
After a refreshing break, we'll begin the descent towards Raj Kharak, our next campsite.
The descent is expected to take around 3 hours, and it’s an opportunity to enjoy the changing landscape as we move down from the high meadows to a more forested area.
Once we reach Raj Kharak, we will set up camp for the night.
The area offers a peaceful and scenic atmosphere, perfect for relaxing after a day of challenging trekking.
After a hearty dinner prepared by our team, you can unwind and enjoy the calm, starry skies before settling in for the night to rest for the next day's journey
After breakfast, we will begin our downhill trek from Raj Kharak.
The trail today is relatively easy and shorter compared to previous days, making it a welcome change.
The path is adorned with scenic mountain views, with snow-covered surroundings, adding a touch of winter charm.
As we descend, we can enjoy the stunning landscapes that unfold before us.
Gaurmanda is our campsite for the day, located at an altitude of 8,965 feet.
The trek to Gaurmanda will take about 4 to 5 hours, depending on our pace.
Once we arrive, we will set up our tents in this tranquil spot, perfect for a restful night.
After a day of trekking, a delicious home-cooked dinner will be served at the campsite. You can relax and enjoy the peaceful environment of Gaurmanda, surrounded by the majestic mountains.
Spend the night in the comfort of your tent, resting and preparing for the next day's trek
After breakfast, we will begin the short trek from Gaurmanda to Ghuttu. This easy downhill trek will take about 2 to 3 hours.
The journey will offer a gentle descent, allowing us to enjoy the surrounding mountain scenery as we make our way towards Ghuttu village.
Once we reach Ghuttu, we will arrange for transportation to take us back to Dehradun.
The drive from Ghuttu to Dehradun will take approximately 7 to 8 hours. It is a comfortable ride through picturesque landscapes.
We expect to reach Dehradun by evening, around 7 to 8 pm.
Upon arrival, you can relax and reflect on the incredible trekking experience of the past few days.
The trip concludes with the drop-off at your preferred location in Dehradun.
