With over six lakes and five diverse valleys to explore, the trek provides a breathtaking 360° panorama every day. The varied landscape adds a moderate-difficult challenge, making it a rewarding journey for nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers alike.

Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Srinagar & Drive to Sonmarg (80 km - 2-3 Hrs)
  • Khush Aamdeed! Discover the charm of Srinagar, often hailed as the Venice of Kashmir
  • Upon your arrival in Srinagar, make your way to the designated pick-up point by 10:00 AM
  • Delight in the breathtaking views of meadows and rivers as you journey towards Sonmarg
  • The drive spans approximately 80 kilometers (50 miles) and will take around 2-3 hours
  • Upon reaching Sonmarg, transfer to your campsite and complete your check-in
  • Relax at the campsite or venture out to explore Sonmarg’s scenic wonders, including the spectacular Thajiwas Glacier and Baltal Valley
  • After a memorable day, return to the campsite for a restful overnight stay
  • Enjoy a fulfilling dinner and prepare for an exciting journey to Nichnai the next day
Day 2 Trek from Sonamarg to Nichnai via Shekdur - A Walk Through The Meadows of Gold
  • Start your day with a picturesque sunrise amidst verdant landscapes
  • After breakfast, pack up and head to Nichnai, renowned as the Valley of Wild Flowers
  • En route, stop by Shekdur for a break and savor some Maggie and tea
  • Continue on, arriving at the Nichnai campsite by evening
  • The trek from Sonamarg to Nichnai via Shekdur spans 11 km, taking approximately 8 hours, with an elevation of around 11,500 ft.
  • Enjoy a hearty dinner and a restful overnight stay at the camp
Day 3 Trek from Nichnai to Vishansar Lake- Admire Views of Snowcapped Mountains
  • Start your day with breakfast at Nichnai and then don your comfy clothes as you set off on your trek toward Vishansar Lake
  • Stroll along the riverbank and experience a gentle climb through the meadow, which will lead you to Nichnai Pass, offering sweeping views of the Sonamarg valley
  • Continue your trek, which will soon bring you to Vishansar Lake, a stunning sight surrounded by majestic mountains
  • The trek covers about 13.5 km and takes roughly 7-8 hours, with altitudes ranging from 11,607 ft to 12,011 ft, peaking at 13,229 ft.
  • Arrive at Vishansar Lake by evening and soak in the breathtaking views.
  • Enjoy dinner and a restful overnight stay at the camp
Day 4 Trek from Vishansar Lake to Gadsar Lake- Walk to the Highest Alpine Lake
  • Rise with the morning light, savoring the breathtaking sunrise view from the camp
  • Enjoy a hearty breakfast, pack your belongings, and set off on a trek to Krishansar Peak, situated 500 feet above your campsite
  • Then cross and reach the other side of the reservoir, where the path will lead you to Krishansar Lake, followed by a trek to Gadsar Pass, the highest point of your trek
  • Continue the journey towards Gadsar Lake, a lake adorned with exotic flowers on both sides
  •  Upon reaching, check in at the nearest Army Camp. After completing the necessary formalities, return to your camp for an overnight stay
  • The trek covers 16 km and takes approximately 7.5 hours, with an altitude range from 12,011 ft to 10,706 ft, peaking at 13,715 ft
  • Enjoy a dinner in the evening and rest overnight at your camp
Day 5 Trek from Gadsar Lake to Satsar Lake- Way to the Nest of Seven Small Lakes
  • Start your day with breakfast, pack up, and head out towards Satsar Lake
  • Prepare for an exhilarating trek through diverse terrains, tackling both flat paths and challenging inclines along the way
  • Pause for a brief respite at Maengandob, a scenic spot nestled among towering peaks
  • Once you arrive at Satsar Lake, present your identification to the army officials for verification
  • The trek spans 11.5 km, taking approximately 5-6 hours, with an altitude range from 10,706 ft to 11,985 ft.
  • Settle into your campsite at Satsar Lake for the night
  • Relish your dinner and unwind for a restful overnight stay
Day 6 Trek from Satsar Lake to Gangabal Twin Lakes- Trail Leading to Foothill of Mt. Haramukh
  • Start your day early with a hearty breakfast and gear up for an exciting adventure ahead
  • Depart from the campsite and make your way to Gangabal and Nunkol Lakes, traversing the final Satsar Lakes
  • As you trek, enjoy the scenic beauty surrounding the trail, including the Gujjar huts and various ridges
  • Reach the summit and soak in the views of the twin lakes before heading towards the sacred Nundkol Lake, revered by Hindus
  •  Wrap up your trek at the stunning Gangabal Lake and settle into your campsite for a restful overnight stay
  • The trek spans approximately 10 km and takes about 6 hours, with an altitude change from 11,985 ft to 11,486 ft, reaching up to 13,276 ft.
  • Enjoy dinner and relax for the night at camp
Day 7 Trek from Gangabal Twin Lakes to Naranag - Transfer to Srinagar
  • Enjoy a delightful breakfast before departing from the campsite
  • Embark on your descent towards the picturesque Naranag Village, famed for its stunning meadows
  • Once you reach, take time to soak in the village's natural charm. You may also explore the historic Naranag Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva
  • Later, you'll be transferred to your drop-off point in Srinagar
  • Your journey concludes here, leaving you with a treasure trove of memorable experiences and breathtaking views

  • 👉 While entering passenger names during the booking process, Do ensure that they exactly match the names on the travel documents (e.g. Aadhar Crad/PAN card/ Passport/Voter ID card/Any Identity Card) that you will be carrying for the Trip/Trek.

  • 👉 The passenger names in the booking form should be exactly as per Adhar Card. Sky Hike will not bear any liability for the name change fee if incorrect names and ages have been added at the time of booking.

  • 👉 In case your package needs to be canceled due to any natural calamity, weather conditions, etc. SkyHike reserves the right to deny a refund request in the event of a disaster, depending on the nature of the disaster and its impact on the organization.

  • 👉 Sky Hike reserves the right to modify the itinerary at any point, due to reasons including but not limited to Force Majeure events, strikes, fairs, festivals, weather conditions, traffic problems, cancellation rescheduling, closure of /entry restrictions at a place of visit, etc. While we will do our best to make suitable alternate arrangements, we will not be held liable for any refunds/compensation claims arising out of this.

Payment & Confirmation Policies
  • 👉 100.0% of the total Trip/Trek cost will have to be paid 7 days before the Date of Travel.

  • 👉 To confirm your Trek/Trip booking, a 30% advance payment is necessary. Once we receive your deposit, we'll send you a confirmation email with all the details, Invoice & due amount, and payment date.

Cancelation & Refund Policy
  • 👉 If cancellation is made 30 days or more before the Date of Travel, 25% of the total Booking Cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

  • 👉 If cancellation is made between 29 days to 16 days before the date of travel, 50% of the total Booking Cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

  • 👉 If cancellation is made between 7 days to 15 days before the date of travel, 80% of the total Booking Cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

  • 👉 If cancellation is made within 7 days before the date of travel, the total booking cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

  • 👉 If payment is not made as per the schedule provided in the first booking confirmation Email, Sky Hike reserves the right to cancel the booking after attempting to get in touch with you. Refunds will be issued as per the package cancellation policy.

  • 👉 Transfer your Trek/Trip (any Trek/Trip, within 2 months of your Date of Travel) to your friend before 15 days of your Date of Travel.

  • 👉 You can only Transfer your Trip or Trek to those friends or People who haven’t booked any trip with us in a given time period. 

  • 👉 70% cash voucher in the form of 'HikeCoin' for any other Trip/Trek for one year, If we are informed before 20 days of the date of travel. (1 Rupees = 10 HikeCoin)

  • 👉 80% cash voucher in the form of 'HikeCoin' for the same Trip/Trek for one year. If we are informed 20 days before the date of travel, (1 Rupee = 10 HikeCoin)

  • 👉 The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 business days.

Child Policy
  • 👉 We recommend avoiding going on adventure trips with young children below the age of 7 years including Dham Yatra. The Dham Yatra has a demanding itinerary that can be challenging for young children.

  • 👉 Children under 5 years old are free of charge. However, Please note that this typically applies to one child per paying adult. Additional children under 5 Y/O may require a separate seat or pay a discounted fare.

  • 👉 Children between 6 and 12 years old will be charged 70% of the adult travel cost (per person).

  • 👉 Children 13 years and older will be charged the full adult travel cost.

  • 👉 Please be sure to provide the accurate age of all traveling children at the time of booking.

  • 👉 Documentation proving a child's age may be required during check-in (e.g., birth certificate, Adhar Card/Passport).
