Trek Highlights

In Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand, lies a beautiful Himalayan meadow called Dayara Bugyal. At 11,000 feet, it's a stunning spot surrounded by forests and snow-capped peaks.

The meadow changes with the seasons. In summer, it's filled with colorful flowers, and in winter, it's covered in snow. And from Bakriya Top, you can see breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.

Dayara Bugyal is special not just for its natural beauty but also for its cultural importance. Local villages consider it sacred, and communities like the Van Gurjars have been coming here for generations. You might even catch the festive Butter Festival, celebrating Lord Krishna's birthday. Many travellers visit to become part of this amazing festival.

This trek is perfect for beginners and experienced adventurers alike. In winter, the trails are easy to navigate, making it an ideal spot to learn hiking skills in the snow.
