Itinerary

Day 1 Day 1: Arrival in Dehradun & Drive to Dhaula (Drive 252 Km, 5 Hrs)
  • Meet us at Dehradun Railway Station by 7 AM, and buckle up for an epic road trip to Mori, a hidden gem nestled beside the serene Tons River.
  • Get comfortable, grab a snack, and enjoy the scenic 7-8 hour drive through pine forests. We'll stop by Netwar and pay respects at Pokhu Devta, an ancient architectural marvel that showcases the region's unique culture.
  • Take a break, stretch your legs, and soak in the tranquility of the surroundings.
  • Finally, arrive at Dhaula, where the Rupin Gad river awaits.
  • Settle into your cozy tents, get familiar with your trek team, have dinner and gear up for an unforgettable trekking experience!
Day 2 Day 2: Trek from Dhaula to Sewa (Trek 10 Km, 3 Hrs)
  • Today, immerse yourself in nature's splendor with SkyHike.
  • Post breakfast, trek through vibrant rhododendron forests and picturesque fields, capturing breathtaking moments.
  • The 3-4 hour leisurely walk is perfect for warming up those trekking muscles. Take breaks, soak in the scenery, and enjoy the gentle rustle of leaves beneath your feet.
  • Arrive at Sewa, where warm hospitality and tranquil surroundings await. Interact with locals, explore the village, and unwind in your cozy tents.
  • Have dinner there and then go back to have some rest.
Day 3 Day 3: Trek from Sewa to Jakha (Trek 14 Km, 7 Hrs)
  • After having breakfast, we’ll go on an engaging journey through quaint hamlets, absorbing local culture and traditions.
  • Interact with friendly villagers, explore mixed forests, and catch glimpses of the majestic Dhauladhar range.
  • The 6-7 hour trek takes you through some of the most stunning landscapes. Take breaks, refuel, and soak in the serenity.
  • Reach Jakha, the highest village in the region, and unwind in your cozy tents.
  • Share stories with your trek mates, have heart dinner, and get ready for the next day's adventure.
Day 4 Day 4: Trek from Jakha to Suruwas Thach (Trek 4-5 Km, 5-6 Hrs)
  • On this day, we’ll begin our journey after having breakfast.
  • Trek to the enchanting Suruwas Thach meadows, where dew-kissed grass and tranquility await. Cross rivers, climb through jungle stretches, and behold the majestic Rupin waterfall.
  • The 5-6 hour trek is a visual treat! Take breaks, capture moments, and soak in the serenity.
  • Camp amidst nature's splendor, feeling rejuvenated and refreshed. Enjoy a warm dinner, and gaze at the starry skies.
Day 5 Day 5: Trek from Suruwas Thach to Dhanderas Thach (Trek 6.2 Km, 4 Hrs)
  • Get ready for a visual treat and begin with a hearty meal!
  • Ascend picturesque meadows, and trek through snowy stretches to the upper waterfall camping area.
  • The 4-hour trek is an exhilarating experience! Take breaks, soak in the scenery, and capture breathtaking moments.
  • Reach your campsite, set up the tents, have your dinner and then take some rest.
  • Unwind, take in the breathtaking views, and spend the night under starry skies.
Day 6 Day 6: Trek from Dhanderas Thach to Upper Waterfall Camp ( Trek 3 Km, 3 Hrs)
  • Rise early for an exhilarating climb to the pass! We’ll have our quick meal and then prepare for the descend.
  • Ascend snowfields and rocky paths, taking in sweeping Himalayan views.
  • The 3-hour climb is challenging, but the views are breathtaking! Witness the majestic Kinner Kailash range and Charang La summits.
  • Descend to Ronti Gad pastures, and reach your campsite. It’s time to have dinner now, so eat dinner and then retire for the night, feeling accomplished.
Day 7 Day 7: Trek from Upper Waterfall to Ronti Gad (Trek 7 Km, 11 Hrs)
  • Begin your day with quick breakfast, and then go on a long, rewarding descent to Sangla, with spectacular views of the Kinner Kailash range and Sangla valley.
  • The 11-hour trek is a test of endurance, but the scenery makes it worthwhile! Take breaks, refuel, and soak in the serenity.
  • Meet the meandering Baspa River, and celebrate with a hot cup of masala tea.
  • Spend the night in tents, reflecting on an unforgettable adventure.
Day 8 Day 8: Departure from Ronti Gad to Shimla
  • Bid farewell to the mountains, and drive to Shimla. Arrive by afternoon, bringing back memories of an epic Rupin Pass trek.

  1. The highest point of the trek reaches about 15,250 feet, and temperatures can drop to -10°C, particularly at higher camps. It's important to prepare for varying weather conditions, including gentle snowfall and possibly hailstorms.
  2. Make sure to have proper gear for cold weather and be aware of altitude sickness symptoms. Planning your trip with a reliable guide and ensuring you have necessary permits is also advisable.

👉 While entering passenger names during the booking process, Do ensure that they exactly match the names on the travel documents (e.g. Aadhar Crad/PAN card/ Passport/Voter ID card/Any Identity Card) that you will be carrying for the Trip/Trek.

👉 The passenger names in the booking form should be exactly as per Adhar Card. Sky Hike will not bear any liability for the name change fee if incorrect names and ages have been added at the time of booking.

👉 In case your package needs to be canceled due to any natural calamity, weather conditions, etc. SkyHike reserves the right to deny a refund request in the event of a disaster, depending on the nature of the disaster and its impact on the organization.

👉 Sky Hike reserves the right to modify the itinerary at any point, due to reasons including but not limited to Force Majeure events, strikes, fairs, festivals, weather conditions, traffic problems, cancellation rescheduling, closure of /entry restrictions at a place of visit, etc. While we will do our best to make suitable alternate arrangements, we will not be held liable for any refunds/compensation claims arising out of this.

 

Payment Policies

👉 100.0% of the total Trip/Trek cost will have to be paid 7 days before the Date of Travel.

👉 To confirm your Trek/Trip booking, a 30% advance payment is necessary. Once we receive your deposit, we'll send you a confirmation email with all the details, Invoice & due amount, and payment date.

 

Cancelation & Refund Policy

👉 If cancellation is made 30 days or more before the Date of Travel, 25% of the total Booking Cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

👉 If cancellation is made between 29 days to 16 days before the date of travel, 50% of the total Booking Cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

👉 If cancellation is made between 7 days to 15 days before the date of travel, 80% of the total Booking Cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

👉 If cancellation is made within 7 days before the date of travel, the total booking cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

👉 If payment is not made as per the schedule provided in the first booking confirmation Email, Sky Hike reserves the right to cancel the booking after attempting to get in touch with you. Refunds would be as per the package Cancellation policy.

👉 Transfer your Trek/Trip (any Trek/Trip, within 2 months of your Date of Travel) to your friend before 15 days of your Date of Travel.

👉 70% cash voucher in the form of 'HikeCoin' for any other Trip/Trek for one year, If we are informed before 20 days of the date of travel. (1 Rupees = 10 HikeCoin)

👉 80% cash voucher in the form of 'HikeCoin' for the same Trip/Trek for one year. If we are informed before 20 days of the date of travel. (1 Rupee = 10 HikeCoin)

👉 The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 business days.

 

Child Policy

👉 We recommend avoiding going on adventure trips with young children below the age of 7 years including Dham Yatra. The Dham Yatra has a demanding itinerary that can be challenging for young children.

👉 Children under 5 years old are free of charge. However, Please note that this typically applies to one child per paying adult. Additional children under 5 Y/O may require a separate seat or pay a discounted fare.

👉 Children between 6 and 12 years old will be charged 70% of the adult travel cost (per person).

👉 Children 13 years and older will be charged the full adult travel cost.

👉 Please be sure to provide the accurate age of all traveling children at the time of booking.

👉 Documentation proving a child's age may be required during check-in (e.g., birth certificate, Adhar Card/Passport).
