Today marks the beginning of your incredible adventure with SkyHike!
We kick off from Dehradun, the capital city of Uttarakhand, where you’ll meet us and fellow trekkers for a scenic journey to Sankri.
We’ll then hop on the vehicle to begin our journey.
The drive takes you through winding roads with breathtaking views of the city and the surrounding hills.
As we leave behind Dehradun, we enter Mussoorie, famous for its picturesque hills and the iconic Kempty Falls.
From there, we’ll head into the Govind National Park, home to rich wildlife and vibrant flora.
This stretch of the drive is rough in parts, but the dense forests, Tons River Valley, and apple orchards make it all worth it.
We aim to reach Sankri by late afternoon, where you can unwind and enjoy the spectacular views of Mt. Swargarohini as the sun sets.
Here we’ll have our dinner.
You’ll spend the night in cozy homestays, allowing you to relax and get to know the local culture.
Get ready for a beautiful trek today as we head from Sankri to Juda Ka Talab.
We start in the morning after breakfast, leaving our accommodation behind, and walk through a dense forest of pine, oak, and rhododendron trees.
As you walk, keep your eyes peeled for some exotic birds high in the trees and feel the soothing ambiance of moss-covered rocks beneath your feet.
We’ll take plenty of breaks in between to replenish our energy.
After this, the trail continues through more forests and open spaces until we reach Juda Ka Talab, a stunning lake.
The lake is believed to have been formed when Lord Shiva meditated here.
Here, we’ll set up our camps for the day at SkyHike’s campsite. You can explore the nearby areas while we prepare the lunch.
At night, we’ll enjoy dinner in front of bonfire. After this, take a peaceful sleep
Today’s trek starts with a hearty meal.
We start our hike through a denser forest compared to yesterday.
As you progress, you’ll find yourself walking between tree roots and rocks.
We soon reach a meadow offering some of the most picturesque views of the Sankri range.
The trail then begins to descend toward a small bridge. Here, we’ll take a break and you can also fill up your water bottles.
The biggest challenge today is a steep ascent after crossing the bridge, but the views from the top are more than worth it.
From the summit, you’ll see both the Kedarkantha Peak and Phulara Ridge, stunning sights that make this trek unforgettable.
After some time, we finally arrive at Bhoj Gadi, where we’ll set up camp.
We’ll rest and then head for an acclimatization walk, gaining a bit of altitude to help prepare for the next few days.
At night, we’ll have dinner together and enjoy our night with a good sleep.
Today, we’ll begin the day with a hearty breakfast.
We will do a trek with spectacular views from the Phulara Ridge.
After leaving Bhoj Gadi in the morning, we will head toward the ridge.
From the ridge, you’ll get stunning views of the surrounding peaks and valleys, including the majestic Swargarohini and Kala Nag.
As we continue along the ridge, the landscape opens up, revealing even more stunning mountain views.
We stop for lunch in a beautiful meadow next to a stream, then continue the descent into the lush meadow.
This part of the trek, with wide open spaces, is perfect for stretching and running freely.
Here we’ll set up our camps. You can explore the place while we prepare for the dinner.
You can enjoy a peaceful dinner and then go to sleep as we have alot to explore tomorrow.
The last day of our trek begins with breakfast and then a descent through a dense forest.
As we make our way downhill, the trail is covered with dense green trees.

We’ll pass through many stunning villages and will get glimpses of the Supin River. You will also spot villagers doing their daily activities.
After soaking in the warm sunlight, we’ll catch a ride from Taluka back to Sankri.
The 12-km drive is filled with breathtaking views of the valley as we make our way back to Sankri, where we’ll rest after the trek.
Enjoy your last night in the cozy homestay and have an amazing dinner.
Today, we say goodbye to the mountains and begin our journey back to Dehradun.
