The trek takes you through lush meadows, dense forests, and picturesque villages, culminating at Khaliya Top, where you’ll camp under the stars, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes. Along the way, enjoy the refreshing Birthi Falls and the peaceful village of Dharamgar.
This trek is perfect for beginners, offering incredible natural beauty, wildlife sightings, and a sense of serenity you won’t forget.
As you arrive at Kathgodam Railway Station, our SkyHike representative will be there to greet you and start the journey.
We’ll meet at a designated spot and then our SkyHike representative will give you a brief of tour.
After a hearty breakfast, we’ll hit the road for a scenic drive that will take us through charming towns like Almora, Bageshwar, Kausani, Thal, and Chaukori.
On the way, you’ll be surrounded by lush alpine trees like Chir, Oak, Pine, Deodar, and Rhododendrons.
You’ll also get a chance to enjoy a local lunch and soak in the spectacular mountain views.
By the evening, we’ll reach Munsiyari, a serene town.
Check in at your hotel and unwind as you enjoy a breathtaking sunset.
Make sure you enjoy your dinner at the hotel and get plenty of rest.
After a refreshing breakfast, we’ll start our trek to Khaliya Top, known for its stunning meadows and panoramic mountain views.
The trek today is around 6-7 km, and we’ll pass through dense forests, lush meadows, and small, picturesque villages.
As we walk, you’ll be treated to magnificent views of snow-capped peaks like Panchachuli, Nanda Devi, and Nanda Ghunti.
We might spot some rare wildlife, including the Monal, Ghurar, Yellow-fronted Marten, and Mountain Goat.
The trek is beginner-friendly, so you won’t have to worry much about difficulty.
Along the way, you’ll also be able to take in the beauty of Birthi Falls, a refreshing stop before continuing upward.
Once we reach the Khaliya Top campsite, you’ll be greeted by a 360-degree view of the surrounding mountains, valleys, and snow line.
After setting up our tents and enjoying a warm dinner, we’ll rest under the stars and soak in the beauty of this peaceful spot.
After a restful night, we’ll begin our descent back to Munsiyari.
But before that, we’ll have a yummy breakfast.
This part of the trek is a gradual descent, and you’ll have the chance to see local adventure sports like paragliding along the way.
Once we return to Munsiyari, we’ll check into a cozy guest house, where you can relax and enjoy a delicious dinner.
It’s time to say goodbye to the mountains and head back to Kathgodam.
After breakfast at the stay, we’ll start our journey back.
Take in the last glimpses of the beautiful landscapes and reflect on the incredible memories you’ve made during the trek.
By the evening, we’ll drop you off at Kathgodam Railway Station, where you’ll catch your train back home.

Khaliya Top is a moderate trek, suitable for beginners with some trekking experience. Prepare for steep ascents and changing weather conditions.
Packing Essentials:
