Day 1 Guwahati Arrival and Transfer to Shillong via Umiam Lake

Arrive at Guwahati Airport or railway station and meet our representative.
Begin your scenic drive towards Shillong, the capital city of Meghalaya.
The journey takes you through green hills, winding roads, small settlements and beautiful Northeast landscapes.
En route, stop at Umiam Lake View Point and enjoy the calm water views surrounded by lush hills.
Spend some time clicking photographs and enjoying the peaceful lake atmosphere.
Continue the drive towards Shillong.
On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax after the journey.
In the evening, you may explore Police Bazaar or nearby local markets at your own pace.

Day 2 Shillong to Cherrapunji via Laitlum Canyon, Arwah Cave and Waterfalls

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin your drive towards Cherrapunji.
En route, visit Laitlum Canyon, one of the most scenic viewpoints near Shillong.

Day 3 Nongriat Trek to Single Root Bridge and Double Decker Living Root Bridge

After breakfast, drive towards Tyrna Village, the starting point for the Nongriat trek.
Begin the trek towards the Single Root Bridge through forest trails, stone steps, village paths and natural surroundings.
Continue the trek further towards the famous Double Decker Living Root Bridge.
The Double Decker Living Root Bridge is one of Meghalaya’s most unique attractions and is formed through the living roots of rubber trees.
Spend peaceful time near the root bridge and enjoy the natural beauty of Nongriat village.
Travellers with good fitness may explore nearby natural pools or viewpoints, subject to time, weather and local guidance.
After sightseeing, trek back to Tyrna Village.
The trek includes a long stair route and requires good stamina, patience and comfortable walking shoes.
Drive back to Cherrapunji and relax after the trek.

Day 4 Cherrapunji Caves and Waterfall Sightseeing

Proceed for a relaxed sightseeing day around Cherrapunji and nearby areas.
Visit Mawsmai Cave, one of the most popular limestone caves in Meghalaya.
Walk through the cave passage and admire the natural rock formations.
Visit Seven Sisters Falls or nearby waterfall viewpoints as per weather, visibility and local route conditions.
Visit Dainthlen Falls or other nearby waterfall locations depending on road condition, time and final sightseeing plan.

Mawlynnong is known for its clean surroundings, peaceful village life, local culture and scenic natural beauty.

You may also visit the balancing rock or village viewpoint depending on local accessibility.
After exploring Mawlynnong, continue the drive towards Shnongpdeng near Dawki.

Day 6 Dawki and Shnongpdeng Water Activities with Return to Shillong

Spend time near the Umngot River, famous for its clear water and scenic surroundings.

Payment & Confirmation Policies

👉 100.0% of the total Trip/Trek cost will have to be paid 7 days before the Date of Travel.
👉 Booking will be considered confirmed only after a minimum advance payment of 30% of the total package cost.
👉 Once we receive your deposit, we'll send you a confirmation email with all the details, the Invoice & due amount, and the payment date.
👉 Failure to make a timely payment may result in auto-cancellation without prior notice.
👉 Valid ID proof (Aadhar card, passport, etc.) must be submitted at the time of booking.
👉 For international trips, passport copies with a minimum of 6 months' validity and visa documents must be submitted as per deadlines.
👉 Payments accepted via UPI, Net Banking, Credit/Debit Cards, or bank transfers.
👉 Payments made via Credit/Debit Card may attract an additional payment gateway charge (as per the gateway's fee structure).
👉 Cash payments (if any) must be acknowledged with an official receipt.
👉 If you choose to book flight, train, or bus tickets through SkyHike’s team, Full payment is required to issue flight, train, or bus tickets.
👉 Transport ticket prices are dynamic. Final fare will be as per the live rates visible on the booking portals at the time of processing. Any price difference from previous quotes will be chargeable.

Cancelation & Refund Policy

👉 The advance amount is non-refundable.
👉 The guest is eligible to request a refund only if the paid booking amount exceeds 30%.
👉 If cancellation is made 30 days or more before the Date of Travel, 30% of the total Booking Cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
👉 If cancellation is made between 29 days to 16 days before the date of travel, 50% of the total Booking Cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
👉 If cancellation is made between 7 days to 15 days before the date of travel, 80% of the total Booking Cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
👉 If cancellation is made within 7 days before the date of travel, the total booking cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
Last-minute No-Show: 100% cancellation charges applicable. No reschedule. No refund.
👉 If payment is not made as per the schedule provided in the first booking confirmation Email, Sky Hike reserves the right to cancel the booking after attempting to get in touch with you. Refunds will be issued as per the package cancellation policy.
👉 Transfer your Trek/Trip (any Trek/Trip, within 2 months of your Date of Travel) to your friend before 15 days of your Date of Travel. However, your friend will be eligible for the transfer only if they have not booked any trip/trek with us and have yet to travel.
👉 You can only transfer your Trip or Trek to those friends or People who haven’t booked any trip with us in a given time period.
👉 80% cash voucher in the form of 'HikeCoin' for any other Trip/Trek for one year, if we are informed before 20 days of the date of travel. (1 Rupees = 10 HikeCoin)
👉 90% cash voucher in the form of 'HikeCoin' for the same Trip/Trek for one year. If we are informed 20 days before the date of travel, (1 Rupee = 10 HikeCoin)
👉 The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 business days.
👉 The company is not liable for compensation beyond the tour cost.
👉 Non-Refundable Items: Flight/train/bus tickets once issued are non-refundable.
