Know Before You Go
  • Weather Planning:
Spiti is a cold desert with harsh winters and mild summers. The best time to visit is from May to October, when roads are open and the weather is manageable.

  • Prepare for High Altitudes:
Spiti is at high altitudes (up to 4,500 meters), so take time to acclimatize and stay hydrated to avoid altitude sickness.

  • Book Accommodations in Advance:
Due to its remote location, it’s important to book stays and permits ahead of time, especially during peak season (June-September). SkyHike will take care of this!
