Join us on an incredible adventure through the breathtaking Markha Valley, where the desert landscape stretches out before us like an endless scenery. As we hike through this stunning region, the majestic Ladakh and Zanskar mountains will be our constant companions.
Our path will wind through the beautiful Hemis National Park. This protected area is home to rare and amazing wildlife. As we walk, the landscape shifts and changes, revealing hidden valleys, ancient temples, and villages nestled in the hills. We'll cross the Markha River, its icy waters swirling around our legs as we make our way to ancient villages, their beautifully carved structures telling the story of a centuries-old heritage.
What draws many to this trek is its easy accessibility, nestled as it is near the town of Leh. Yet, it's the unexpected moments – a chance encounter with a nomadic family, the soft glow of sunrise on a mountain ridge – that will leave a lasting impression on your heart.
Our experienced guides will share stories of the region's history, myths, and geology, deepening your connection to this enchanting land. By the end of this journey, you'll have experienced the natural beauty, unique charm, and resilient spirit of Markha Valley – and carried its memories with you forever.
