This 8 day journey takes you across Nepal’s spiritual heart, Himalayan valleys, jungle plains, and high altitude pilgrimage routes. From Kathmandu’s ancient temples to Chitwan’s wildlife, from peaceful Pokhara to the rugged road to Jomsom and sacred Muktinath, this trip balances devotion, scenery, and adventure.
The SkyHike team manages airport transfers, hotel coordination, cross valley drives, and 4×4 arrangements for the Jomsom–Muktinath sector so your journey remains smooth and well paced.
Drive: Airport → Hotel (City transfer)
Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, a SkyHike representative will receive you at the arrival gate. You will be transferred comfortably to your hotel in Kathmandu.
After check in and freshening up, you begin your first spiritual visit in Nepal. You will visit Pashupatinath Temple, one of the most sacred Shiva shrines in the world.
Situated on the banks of the Bagmati River, the temple complex carries deep spiritual significance. The cremation ghats beside the river reflect the Hindu belief of liberation from the cycle of rebirth.
You will have time to sit quietly, observe rituals, and absorb the peaceful atmosphere before returning to the hotel.

Your day begins early with a possible sunrise Himalayan view, depending on weather conditions.
After breakfast, you proceed for further sightseeing in Kathmandu. You will visit Guhyeshwari Shakti Peeth, an important shrine dedicated to divine feminine energy.
From there, visit Budhanilkantha Temple where Lord Vishnu is depicted reclining on Ananta Shesha.
Next, you explore Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple. From here, you get a wide view of the Kathmandu valley.
Post sightseeing, begin your drive towards Chitwan. The 199 km journey takes around 6 to 7 hours as you descend from hills to the Terai plains. The landscape changes from mountain curves to flatter countryside.
Arrive in Chitwan by evening and check in.

Distance: ~159 km | Travel Time: 3–4 hrs
After breakfast, you may experience local morning activity around Chitwan before beginning your drive to Pokhara.
The 159 km journey takes around 3 to 4 hours and is scenic, with river valleys and distant hills accompanying the route. As you approach Pokhara, the air feels cooler and mountain views begin to appear more prominently.
Check in at your hotel and relax for the evening.

Local Travel: ~35 km
After breakfast, begin a full day of local sightseeing in Pokhara.
Start with Bindhyabasini Temple, one of the oldest temples in the region. Continue to Gupteshwar Mahadev Cave where a natural Shiva lingam is located inside the cave.
Visit Devi’s Fall, where water disappears into underground limestone formations. Explore the Seti Gandaki River, known for its unique underground flow.
You will also visit Pumdikot Shiva Statue, offering panoramic views of the valley and mountains.
Later, enjoy a peaceful visit to Tal Barahi Temple located on an island in Phewa Lake. The boat ride to the temple adds to the calm experience.
Return to your hotel by evening.

Distance: ~160 km | Travel Time: 8–9 hrs
Today is one of the most adventurous days of the tour.
Early morning, you check out and may stop at Sarangkot for sunrise over the Annapurna range before beginning your journey towards Jomsom.
The drive follows the Kali Gandaki valley and includes rugged, off road stretches. Due to terrain conditions, a 4×4 vehicle is used for this sector.
The landscape changes dramatically as you enter a drier, more dramatic Himalayan region. River beds, rocky cliffs, and wide valleys define this stretch.
After approximately 8 to 9 hours including breaks, reach Jomsom and check into your hotel.

Distance: ~180 km | Travel Time: 8–9 hrs
After breakfast, proceed towards Muktinath Temple, one of the 108 Divya Desams and sacred to both Hindus and Buddhists.
You will perform darshan at Muktinath Temple and visit Muktinath Kunda, believed to cleanse sins. You will also see Jwala Mai Temple with its natural eternal flame and Gompa Samba monastery.
After spending time in the sacred surroundings, begin your scenic return journey to Pokhara via the same valley route.
Reach Pokhara by evening and check in.

Distance: ~205 km | Travel Time: 7–8 hrs
After breakfast, begin your drive back to Kathmandu. En route, visit Manakamana Temple dedicated to Goddess Bhagwati.
Cable car access is available at additional cost. Devotees believe the goddess fulfills sincere wishes.
After the visit, continue the 205 km journey towards Kathmandu.
In the evening, you may explore Thamel area for shopping or cafes at your own pace.

After breakfast, depending on flight timing, short local exploration may be possible.
