This three-day trip climbs from the plains of Haridwar to Auli and on to Niti Pass, the old trade route that looks into Tibet.
Day one is a drive up the Alaknanda valley, passing all five river confluences and reaching Auli for a warm lodge stay. Day two follows the Dhauli Ganga gorge through Gamshali and Niti village, then a short jeep run takes you to 5 070 m at Niti Pass. After a safe twenty-minute stop you return to Auli for dinner. Day three is a relaxed descent back to Haridwar in time for the evening Ganga aartí.
Transport, permits, lodge rooms, and vegetarian breakfasts and dinners are included. Bring warm layers, a photo ID, and be ready for thin air at the pass.
