After check-in and some time to relax, begin exploring the historic city of Cochin, often referred to as the gateway to Kerala. The city reflects a fascinating blend of Indian, Portuguese, Dutch, and British influences.
Visit the famous Fort Kochi area, known for its colonial architecture and charming streets. Continue to St. Francis Church, one of the oldest European churches in India, and explore nearby heritage landmarks.
You can also visit the iconic Chinese Fishing Nets, one of Cochin's most recognizable attractions, located along the waterfront.

Distance: ~140 km | Travel Time: 4–5 Hours
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin your scenic journey towards Munnar.
As you leave Cochin behind, the landscape gradually changes into lush green hills, forests, spice plantations, and winding mountain roads. The drive itself is one of the highlights of the trip.
En route, visit the beautiful Cheeyappara Waterfalls and Valara Waterfalls, both known for their scenic surroundings and refreshing atmosphere.
As the road climbs higher into the Western Ghats, you'll begin to see the vast tea plantations that make Munnar famous. The rolling green hills and cool climate create a refreshing environment that immediately sets Munnar apart.

After breakfast, set out for a full day of sightseeing in Munnar.
Begin with a visit to Mattupetty Dam, surrounded by hills and forests, offering beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere.
Continue to Echo Point, where the surrounding valleys create a natural echo effect. This scenic location is one of the most popular attractions in Munnar.
Visit Kundala Lake, known for its calm waters and picturesque surroundings. The lake offers some of the best landscapes in the region.

Distance: ~95 km | Travel Time: 3–4 Hours
After breakfast, check out and drive towards Thekkady.
The journey takes you through scenic valleys, spice-growing regions, and forested landscapes. The changing scenery makes this one of the most enjoyable drives in Kerala.
Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax.
Later, explore the surroundings of Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, one of India's most famous wildlife reserves. The sanctuary is known for its dense forests, rich biodiversity, and beautiful natural setting.
You may also visit nearby spice plantations where you can learn about Kerala's world-famous spices, including cardamom, pepper, cinnamon, and cloves.

After breakfast, check out and proceed towards Alleppey, the Backwater Capital of Kerala.

Upon arrival, board your traditional Kerala houseboat and complete the check-in formalities.
The houseboat cruise is one of Kerala's most iconic experiences. As the boat glides through the backwaters, you'll pass narrow canals, coconut-lined shores, paddy fields, local villages, and traditional Kerala homes.

Distance: ~55 km | Travel Time: 1.5 Hours
Wake up to a peaceful morning in the backwaters and enjoy the final moments of your houseboat experience.
After breakfast, check out from the houseboat and begin your drive back to Cochin.
Depending on your departure schedule, you can enjoy the scenic countryside one last time before reaching the city.
Upon arrival, you will be dropped at Cochin Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
