This short trip is a beautiful mix of temples, river views, culture, and local life. Over four days, you will explore the spiritual side of Guwahati, enjoy peaceful moments by the Brahmaputra, visit the silk village of Sualkuchi, and spend time in Hajo, a town known for its religious harmony.

On arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, a SkyHike representative will receive you and transfer you to your hotel. After check in and some time to freshen up, your local sightseeing will begin.
You will first visit Kamakhya Devi Temple for darshan. The temple is located on Nilachal Hill and is one of the most important pilgrimage sites in India. After darshan, continue towards Umananda Temple, located on Peacock Island. A short ferry ride across the Brahmaputra takes you to the temple, making this visit quite special.
Later, you will visit the Assam State Museum and Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra to understand the cultural history of the region. You may also visit Assam State Zoo if you wish.
In the evening, you can opt for a Brahmaputra River Cruise at your own cost. Even if you skip the cruise, spending time along the riverfront is always peaceful.
After completing around 35 to 40 km of local travel during the day, return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Guwahati.

Distance: ~30–35 km | Travel Time: 3–4 hrs (city movement)
After breakfast, proceed for a full day of Guwahati sightseeing covering approximately 30 to 35 km within the city.
Begin with Navagraha Temple, known for its association with planetary worship. Then visit the Balaji Temple, which is well maintained and peaceful. Continue to Basistha Ashram, located on the outskirts of the city, surrounded by greenery and small streams.
Later, visit Doul Govinda Temple, which holds religious importance for devotees in Assam. In the afternoon, spend some time at Fancy Bazaar and nearby local markets where you can explore local products, spices, handicrafts, and daily life of the city.
The evening is kept free for leisure. You may relax at the hotel or take a short walk nearby.
Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Guwahati.

Distance: ~70 km (round trip) | Travel Time: 2–3 hrs (excluding sightseeing time)
After breakfast, drive to Sualkuchi, located about 35 km from Guwahati. The round trip covers approximately 70 km and usually takes 2 to 3 hours of driving in total.
Sualkuchi is known as the Silk Village of Assam. Here, you will visit handloom and silk weaving centers where you can see artisans working on traditional Assamese silk including Muga, Pat, and Eri. Watching the weaving process gives a deeper appreciation for the craftsmanship involved.
You will also take a short village walk to observe the local lifestyle. If you wish, you can shop for authentic Assamese silk products directly from local weavers.
After completing your visit, drive back to Guwahati by evening. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Hajo, located around 30 km from Guwahati. The total travel for the day, including your airport or railway station drop, will be approximately 65 km.
Hajo is known for its religious importance and peaceful surroundings. You will visit Hayagriva Madhava Temple, an important temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The temple complex offers calm views of the surrounding hills.
You will also visit Buddhist Stupas in the area, reflecting the town’s spiritual diversity.
After completing the visits, you will be transferred to Guwahati Airport or Railway Station as per your departure schedule.
