Day 1 Day 1: Arrival in Chandigarh
  • Upon arrival in Chandigarh this evening, you will be greeted by our friendly representative at the pre-designated meeting point, who will assist in this journey.
  • Next, check into your cozy hotel, where you can freshen up and get settled after your journey.
  • Once you're refreshed, get ready for a briefing session, where we'll outline the exciting details of your upcoming adventure.
  • During this briefing, our experienced team will review the itinerary, discuss essential safety guidelines, and address any questions or concerns you may have.
  • After the briefing, enjoy a relaxing dinner at the hotel, explore Chandigarh, and then go to take some rest.
Day 2 Day 2: Chandigarh to Narkanda (Drive 180 km, 5 hours)
  • With your biking adventure set to begin, we'll start the day with a thrilling ride through the scenic Himalayan foothills, making our way to Narkanda, a charming hill station.
  • As we ride, we'll take regular breaks to rest and recharge, indulging in delicious local snacks and drinks.
  • Be sure to capture the stunning scenery and Instagram-worthy moments along the way.
  • Upon arrival in Narkanda, check into your comfortable hotel, where you can relax and unwind after the day's ride.
  • Take some time to explore Narkanda's charming streets, discover the town's unique character, interact with locals, and gain insight into daily life in this quaint hill station.
  • In the evening, we recommend trying some of the local cuisine for dinner. However, dinner will be provided at the hotel, so do not worry about that
  • After dinner, get a well-deserved rest and enjoy a good night's sleep.
Day 3 Day 3: Narkanda to Chitkul (Drive 220 km, 6 hours)
  • Following a hearty breakfast, we’ll set off on our journey to Chitkul, known as the last inhabited village on the Indo-China border.
  • The drive from Kalpa to Chitkul is about 60 kilometers and typically takes about 3 to 4 hours. It winds through lush forests, rugged mountains, and breathtaking views of the Himalayas.
  • Upon reaching Chitkul, take a leisurely stroll through the village markets, where you’ll find handcrafted goods and traditional artifacts unique to this region.
  • Spend some time along the banks of the Baspa River, which flows peacefully through the valley, offering a perfect backdrop for stunning pics.
  • Once we arrive in Chitkul, we’ll check you into a comfortable hotel where you can unwind after the day’s journey.
  • In the evening, we’ll gather for dinner at your hotel, featuring regional dishes that highlight the authentic flavors of Chitkul’s cuisine.
Day 4 Day 4: Chitkul to Kalpa (Drive 100 km, 3 hours)
  • After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we'll begin our ride to Kalpa, a beautiful town located in the foothills of the majestic Kinner Kailash mountain range.
  • The journey from Nako to Kalpa covers approximately 110 kilometers and takes 4 to 5 hours. 
  • Upon arriving in Kalpa, you'll have the chance to explore its ancient monasteries, each rich in history and cultural significance.
  • A highlight of the day will be visiting the famous Kalpa Monastery, known for its peaceful atmosphere and spiritual charm. Take some time to soak in the tranquility here and learn about its historical importance.
  • Afterward, we’ll check you into your comfortable hotel, where you can rest and unwind after the day's ride.
  • In the evening, enjoy a hearty dinner featuring authentic local dishes.
  • Before calling it a night, be sure to step outside to take in the stunning sunset views over the mountains.
Day 5 Day 5: Kalpa to Nako (Drive 110 km, 4 hours)
  • Today, we'll begin our exciting ride to Nako village, situated at an impressive altitude of 3600 meters above sea level.
  • We'll begin the day with a delicious breakfast, carefully prepared to provide the energy needed for the day's adventure.
  • Upon arrival in Nako, explore the ancient monasteries that hold significant cultural and historical importance, and visit the vibrant local markets to discover traditional handicrafts and textiles.
  • Next, visit the serene Nako Lake, a stunning natural wonder that adds to the village's beauty and tranquility.
  • Be sure to try some of the local tea and snacks, a perfect way to experience the authentic flavors of the region.
  • After a wonderful day exploring Nako, settle in for a comfortable overnight stay in the village.
  • In the evening, enjoy a tasty hot dinner, carefully prepared by our team, and then head back to your rooms for a peaceful sleep.
Day 6 Day 6: Nako to Kaza (Drive 120 km, 4 hours)
  • On the sixth day of our journey, we'll ride to Kaza, the largest town in the breathtaking Lahaul and Spiti Valley.
  • En route to Kaza, we'll make a stop at Gue, where you'll have the unique opportunity to visit the remarkable 500-year-old mummy, a natural wonder that has captivated travelers for centuries.
  • Next, we'll visit Tabo, home to an ancient monastery of significant cultural and historical importance. This monastery offers a glimpse into the region's rich spiritual heritage.
  • Another highlight of the day will be Dhankar, where you'll marvel majestic beauty of the Himalayas.
  • Upon arrival in Kaza, check into your comfortable hotel and take some time to unwind and relax after the day's ride.
  • Explore Kaza's charming streets, discover the town's unique character, interact with locals, and gain insight into daily life in this picturesque Himalayan town.
  • In the evening, gather with fellow bikers for an enjoyable dinner and share stories and experiences from the day's ride. Have dinner at the hotel and then retire to your rooms. 
Day 7 Day 7: Kaza Sightseeing
  • We'll begin the day with a delicious breakfast, carefully prepared to provide the perfect start to your exciting exploration of Spiti Valley.
  • Following breakfast, we'll embark on a fascinating journey to Hikkim, where you'll have the unique opportunity to visit the world's highest post office.
  • Next, we'll head to Langza, home to an impressive 1000-year-old Buddha statue. This important spiritual landmark showcases the region's rich cultural heritage.
  • Our journey continues to Komic, a picturesque village nestled in the heart of Spiti Valley.
  • A highlight of the day will be a visit to Key Monastery, one of the oldest and most significant monasteries in Spiti Valley. This monastery offers a glimpse into the region's spiritual history and significance.
  • As the day comes to a close, return to the comfort of your hotel, where a delicious dinner awaits.
  • In the evening, unwind and relax in the peaceful surroundings, indulge in stargazing, or gather around a warm bonfire, sharing stories and experiences with fellow travelers.
Day 8 Day 8: Kaza to Chandrataal (Drive 100 km, 3 hours)
  • Following a nourishing breakfast, we'll begin our 8th-day scenic ride to Chandrataal Lake, a breathtaking natural wonder renowned for its stunning beauty and picturesque surroundings.
  • Upon arrival at the lake, take time to unpack and unwind, allowing yourself to fully appreciate the majestic Himalayan views.
  • After reaching the campsite, we'll set up our Swiss tents, which will protect us from the harsh cold. Along with that, our team will prepare a warm dinner for the night. 
  • You can spend your time capturing breathtaking photos of the lake's crystal-clear waters, surrounded by majestic mountains.
  • Next, take a leisurely walk around the lake's serene shores, immersing yourself in the peaceful ambiance of these beauties. 
  • After a wonderful day exploring Chandrataal Lake, retire to the comfort of cozy Swiss tents, specially designed to provide warmth and protection from the cold.
  • In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner under the starry night sky, and go to sleep.
Day 9 Day 9: Chandrataal to Manali (Drive 120 km, 4 hours)
  • We'll begin the day with a scenic ride to Manali, a charming and picturesque hill station nestled in the heart of the Himalayas.
  • Upon arrival in Manali, check into your comfortable hotel and take some time to freshen up after the journey
  • Enjoy relaxing food at one of Manali's finest cafes. The menu features authentic local cuisine that showcases the region's unique flavors.
  • You may also choose to take a leisurely stroll along the serene banks of the Beas River, taking in the tranquil atmosphere and breathtaking views.
  • You can also visit the famous Hadimba Temple, a historic landmark and significant cultural attraction
  • In the evening, gather for an amazing dinner provided by the hotel. After dinner, head back to your rooms for a good night's sleep. 
Day 10 Day 10: Manali to Chandigarh (Drive 300 km, 7 hours)
  • As we depart Manali, bid farewell to the majestic Himalayas, whose breathtaking beauty and challenging terrain have made this journey unforgettable.
  • Today, we'll have a return ride to Chandigarh.
  • Throughout the journey, we'll take regular breaks, allowing you to rest and recharge
  • Upon arrival in Chandigarh, we'll bid each other farewell, bringing to a close an unforgettable adventure.

Know Before You Go
  1. Plan carefully and obtain necessary permits, especially for foreign nationals, as Spiti Valley is a restricted area, and Inner Line Permits are required. Skyhike will help you with all these things. 
  2. Acclimatize to high altitudes (average 12,000-14,000 ft) before starting the trek to minimize the risk of acute mountain sickness.
  3. Prepare for extreme weather conditions, including snow, cold temperatures (-20°C to -30°C), and limited infrastructure, by packing warm clothing, waterproof gear, and emergency supplies. With an amazing trek operator such as Skyhike, all these things will be available.

  • 👉 While entering passenger names during the booking process, Do ensure that they exactly match the names on the travel documents (e.g. Aadhar Crad/PAN card/ Passport/Voter ID card/Any Identity Card) that you will be carrying for the Trip/Trek.

  • 👉 The passenger names in the booking form should be exactly as per Adhar Card. Sky Hike will not bear any liability for the name change fee if incorrect names and ages have been added at the time of booking.

  • 👉 In case your package needs to be canceled due to any natural calamity, weather conditions, etc. SkyHike reserves the right to deny a refund request in the event of a disaster, depending on the nature of the disaster and its impact on the organization.

  • 👉 Sky Hike reserves the right to modify the itinerary at any point, due to reasons including but not limited to Force Majeure events, strikes, fairs, festivals, weather conditions, traffic problems, cancellation rescheduling, closure of /entry restrictions at a place of visit, etc. While we will do our best to make suitable alternate arrangements, we will not be held liable for any refunds/compensation claims arising out of this.

Payment & Confirmation Policies
  • 👉 100.0% of the total Trip/Trek cost will have to be paid 7 days before the Date of Travel.

  • 👉 To confirm your Trek/Trip booking, a 30% advance payment is necessary. Once we receive your deposit, we'll send you a confirmation email with all the details, Invoice & due amount, and payment date.

Cancelation & Refund Policy
  • 👉 If cancellation is made 30 days or more before the Date of Travel, 25% of the total Booking Cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

  • 👉 If cancellation is made between 29 days to 16 days before the date of travel, 50% of the total Booking Cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

  • 👉 If cancellation is made between 7 days to 15 days before the date of travel, 80% of the total Booking Cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

  • 👉 If cancellation is made within 7 days before the date of travel, the total booking cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

  • 👉 If payment is not made as per the schedule provided in the first booking confirmation Email, Sky Hike reserves the right to cancel the booking after attempting to get in touch with you. Refunds will be issued as per the package cancellation policy.

  • 👉 Transfer your Trek/Trip (any Trek/Trip, within 2 months of your Date of Travel) to your friend before 15 days of your Date of Travel.

  • 👉 You can only Transfer your Trip or Trek to those friends or People who haven’t booked any trip with us in a given time period. 

  • 👉 70% cash voucher in the form of 'HikeCoin' for any other Trip/Trek for one year, If we are informed before 20 days of the date of travel. (1 Rupees = 10 HikeCoin)

  • 👉 80% cash voucher in the form of 'HikeCoin' for the same Trip/Trek for one year. If we are informed 20 days before the date of travel, (1 Rupee = 10 HikeCoin)

  • 👉 The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 business days.

Child Policy
  • 👉 We recommend avoiding going on adventure trips with young children below the age of 7 years including Dham Yatra. The Dham Yatra has a demanding itinerary that can be challenging for young children.

  • 👉 Children under 5 years old are free of charge. However, Please note that this typically applies to one child per paying adult. Additional children under 5 Y/O may require a separate seat or pay a discounted fare.

  • 👉 Children between 6 and 12 years old will be charged 70% of the adult travel cost (per person).

  • 👉 Children 13 years and older will be charged the full adult travel cost.

  • 👉 Please be sure to provide the accurate age of all traveling children at the time of booking.

  • 👉 Documentation proving a child's age may be required during check-in (e.g., birth certificate, Adhar Card/Passport).

  2. Train: Taking a train is one of the fastest options to reach Chandigarh. It usually takes about 3 hours to travel from Ghaziabad to Chandigarh.
  3. Plane: You can also fly to Chandigarh, typically via a connecting flight through Delhi, though travel times can vary depending on layovers.
