Five days is all you need to reach Madhyamaheshwar, the third of the Panch Kedar shrines, and watch beautiful Chaukhamba and Kedarnath peaks.
The trip begins in Haridwar with a road ride past Devprayag and Rudraprayag to the small hill town of Ukhimath. From there a forest drive drops you at Ransi, the trailhead. You will hike through oak and cedar, pause at Gaundar’s waterfall, stay with local families in Nanu, then finish the steady climb to the 1 200-year-old stone temple.
An extra hour of trekking takes you to Budha Madhyamaheshwar for the widest mountain view of the trek. After a night in a simple lodge you retrace the path to Ransi and drive back to Ukhimath, wrapping up with a quiet run down the Mandakini valley to Haridwar.
The package covers all road transport, permits, homestays and lodges, plus vegetarian breakfasts and dinners. Bring basic fitness, warm layers and a photo ID, and leave the planning to us.
