This SkyHike package follows a relaxed desert-focused route where travellers begin with Jaisalmer city exploration and then move towards Sam Sand Dunes for a complete camp experience.

The journey starts with arrival in Jaisalmer or Jodhpur, followed by check-in and sightseeing in the Golden City. Travellers explore Jaisalmer Fort, heritage lanes, Patwon Ki Haveli, Gadisar Lake, local markets and cafés before resting overnight in Jaisalmer. This first day gives travellers a soft introduction to the city’s golden sandstone architecture and desert culture.

The second day is the main highlight of the package, where travellers move from Jaisalmer city towards Sam Sand Dunes or nearby desert areas. The day includes desert camp check-in, traditional welcome, sunset camel safari, optional jeep safari, folk music, Kalbeliya dance, bonfire, Rajasthani dinner and stargazing under the clear desert sky. The final morning begins with sunrise views over the dunes before breakfast and departure back to Jaisalmer.

Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Jaisalmer and Golden City Warm Up

Arrive in Jaisalmer or Jodhpur and meet our representative at the airport, railway station, hotel or designated pickup point.
Get transferred to your hotel in Jaisalmer by comfortable vehicle as per package confirmation.
Complete hotel check-in formalities and relax after your journey.
Later, proceed for a gentle sightseeing experience in Jaisalmer, also known as the Golden City of Rajasthan.
Visit Jaisalmer Fort and explore its living heritage, narrow lanes, golden architecture, viewpoints, shops and old-world charm.
Visit Patwon Ki Haveli, known for its detailed carvings, balconies, heritage design and traditional craftsmanship.
Walk through nearby heritage lanes and local market areas as per available time.
Visit Gadisar Lake for peaceful evening views, photography and a calm introduction to the city.
You may also explore local cafés, handicraft shops and traditional bazaars at your own pace.
Return to the hotel early and rest well before the desert camp experience on the next day.
Dinner and overnight stay will be arranged at the hotel in Jaisalmer as per package confirmation.

Day 2 Into the Dunes, Safari, Culture and Desert Camp Stay

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel in Jaisalmer.
Spend the late morning at leisure in Jaisalmer.
You may enjoy café time, quick local shopping for scarves or turbans, or pack light for the desert stay.
Later, check out from the hotel and begin your drive towards Sam Sand Dunes or nearby desert camp area.
The drive takes you through desert roads, small villages, open landscapes and wind-shaped surroundings.
Brief photo stops may be taken on the way, subject to time and route conditions.
Arrive at the desert camp and receive a traditional welcome with refreshments as per camp arrangement.
Complete check-in formalities and settle into your desert camp or Swiss tent as per selected package category.
In the late afternoon, head out for a sunset camel safari across the rolling sand dunes.
Travellers may also choose a guided jeep safari instead of camel safari, subject to package confirmation and availability.
Pause at a scenic dune point for golden-hour views, group photos and sunset photography.
Return to the desert camp in the evening.
Enjoy a cultural evening with traditional Rajasthani folk music, Kalbeliya dance and live percussion as per camp schedule.
Relax around the bonfire gathering, subject to season, weather and camp rules.
Enjoy a freshly prepared Rajasthani dinner at the desert camp.

Day 3 Sunrise Over the Thar and Departure

Wake up early and experience the peaceful morning atmosphere of the Thar Desert.
Take a short walk or camel ride to a nearby dune for sunrise views, subject to camp location, timing and local conditions.
Spend some quiet time watching the soft colour changes over the sand dunes.
Return to the desert camp for breakfast.
Freshen up and pack your luggage at a relaxed pace.
If time permits, you may visit a nearby artisan village for a short cultural interaction, subject to route, availability and operational feasibility.
Check out from the desert camp as per camp policy.

Payment & Confirmation Policies

👉 100.0% of the total Trip/Trek cost will have to be paid 7 days before the Date of Travel.
👉 Booking will be considered confirmed only after a minimum advance payment of 30% of the total package cost.
👉 Once we receive your deposit, we'll send you a confirmation email with all the details, the Invoice & due amount, and the payment date.
👉 Failure to make a timely payment may result in auto-cancellation without prior notice.
👉 Valid ID proof (Aadhar card, passport, etc.) must be submitted at the time of booking.
👉 For international trips, passport copies with a minimum of 6 months' validity and visa documents must be submitted as per deadlines.
👉 Payments accepted via UPI, Net Banking, Credit/Debit Cards, or bank transfers.
👉 Payments made via Credit/Debit Card may attract an additional payment gateway charge (as per the gateway's fee structure).
👉 Cash payments (if any) must be acknowledged with an official receipt.
👉 If you choose to book flight, train, or bus tickets through SkyHike’s team, Full payment is required to issue flight, train, or bus tickets.
👉 Transport ticket prices are dynamic. Final fare will be as per the live rates visible on the booking portals at the time of processing. Any price difference from previous quotes will be chargeable.

Cancelation & Refund Policy

👉 The advance amount is non-refundable.
👉 The guest is eligible to request a refund only if the paid booking amount exceeds 30%.
👉 If cancellation is made 30 days or more before the Date of Travel, 30% of the total Booking Cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
👉 If cancellation is made between 29 days to 16 days before the date of travel, 50% of the total Booking Cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
👉 If cancellation is made between 7 days to 15 days before the date of travel, 80% of the total Booking Cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
👉 If cancellation is made within 7 days before the date of travel, the total booking cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
Last-minute No-Show: 100% cancellation charges applicable. No reschedule. No refund.
👉 If payment is not made as per the schedule provided in the first booking confirmation Email, Sky Hike reserves the right to cancel the booking after attempting to get in touch with you. Refunds will be issued as per the package cancellation policy.
👉 Transfer your Trek/Trip (any Trek/Trip, within 2 months of your Date of Travel) to your friend before 15 days of your Date of Travel. However, your friend will be eligible for the transfer only if they have not booked any trip/trek with us and have yet to travel.
👉 You can only transfer your Trip or Trek to those friends or People who haven’t booked any trip with us in a given time period.
👉 80% cash voucher in the form of 'HikeCoin' for any other Trip/Trek for one year, if we are informed before 20 days of the date of travel. (1 Rupees = 10 HikeCoin)
👉 90% cash voucher in the form of 'HikeCoin' for the same Trip/Trek for one year. If we are informed 20 days before the date of travel, (1 Rupee = 10 HikeCoin)
👉 The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 business days.
👉 The company is not liable for compensation beyond the tour cost.
👉 Non-Refundable Items: Flight/train/bus tickets once issued are non-refundable.
👉 Permit fees, forest entry charges, or third-party service charges are non-refundable.
👉 Flight/train/bus tickets once issued are non-refundable unless the carrier’s official policy allows cancellation with a refund.
👉 Flight/train/bus tickets applicable refunds will be processed as per the terms of that organization or Booking Portal, and service charges (if any) will be deducted.
👉 No refund will be made for partially utilized services like early check-out, skipped meals, missed sightseeing, or transport.
👉 If sightseeing tickets have been pre-booked, refund eligibility will depend on the official cancellation policy of the issuing authority or managing organization of that specific attraction.
