Package Highlights

Milam Glacier Trek Package 7 Nights 8 Days is a scenic Himalayan trekking experience in the Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand. Starting from Munsiyari, the trek takes travellers through the peaceful Johar Valley, known for its remote villages, river valleys, alpine landscapes and beautiful views of the Panchachuli peaks. This trek is ideal for those who want to explore a less crowded Himalayan route with a mix of nature, culture and history.

Milam Glacier is located at an altitude of around 4,250 meters and is considered the source of the Gori Ganga River. The route carries strong historical importance because of its proximity to the Indo-China border and the old trade heritage of the Johar Valley. Milam Village, located near the glacier, is home to the Bhotiya community and reflects the traditional lifestyle of the high Himalayan region.

This trek is considered moderate in difficulty and can be done by beginners with basic fitness. The journey includes road travel from Kathgodam to Munsiyari, scenic drives through the Gori Ganga Valley, camping near Rilkot, Burfu or Bilju, and a trek to Milam Village and Milam Glacier. The best time to do Milam Glacier Trek is May to June and September to October, when the weather is clearer and trekking conditions are more suitable.
