Skyhike's 6-day journey takes you to some of the most beautiful destinations in Kashmir. You'll experience the unique charm of staying on a traditional houseboat on Dal Lake, and enjoy the scenic beauty of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
Our journey begins in Srinagar, where you'll visit some of the city's most iconic landmarks. You'll see the beautiful Mughal gardens of Shalimar Bagh and Nishat Bagh, and explore the picturesque hill station of Gulmarg. Take a thrilling ride on the Gulmarg Gondola, one of the highest cable cars in the world, and enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding snow-capped mountains.
From Srinagar, we'll travel to Pahalgam, a beautiful valley surrounded by lush green forests and towering mountains. You'll explore the valley's scenic beauty, visit the famous Betaab Valley, and enjoy a leisurely walk along the Lidder River. Next, you'll visit Sonmarg, a picturesque town nestled in the Himalayas, known for its stunning glaciers, alpine meadows, and scenic valleys.
Throughout your journey, you'll have the opportunity to try delicious local cuisine, shop for traditional handicrafts, and enjoy the stunning natural beauty of Kashmir. You'll stay in comfortable hotels and houseboats, and enjoy delicious meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Upon arrival, you will meet our Skyhike representative at the airport and begin their journey towards Srinagar.
After your arrival in Srinagar, you will be provided with a stay at a Kashmiri Houseboat.
These houseboats, famously designed with local interiors, provide an authentic experience of staying on a floating boat on Dal Lake.
Dinner will be served on the houseboat, where you can enjoy traditional Kashmiri dishes in a serene atmosphere.
The night stay will be in Srinagar, on a houseboat on Dal Lake, giving you a chance to enjoy the charm of floating boats.
On Day 2, after breakfast at the houseboat in Srinagar, we will check out and begin our scenic drive towards Pahalgam.
The distance between Srinagar and Pahalgam is approximately 95 kilometers and the journey will take around 2.5 to 3 hours by road.
En-route, we will stop to visit the Saffron Fields at Pampore.
Following this, we will visit the Avantipur Ruins, which are ancient temple ruins located in a picturesque setting.
Upon arrival in Pahalgam, you will check in to the hotel arranged by us.
After check-in, you can stroll around the Mall Road in Pahalgam, where you can shop for local handicrafts and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Dinner will be served at the hotel, where you can enjoy a delicious traditional meal.
On the 3rd Day, after enjoying breakfast at the hotel in Pahalgam, we will begin the day with a tour of Betaab Valley, located about 15 kilometers from Pahalgam.
The valley, known for its scenic beauty, is perfect for a leisurely walk amidst lush greenery and towering mountains.
Afterwards, we will head to Chandanwari, located about 16 kilometres from Pahalgam, where you will have a chance to enjoy the snow and indulge in some fun snow activities.
Following the snow fun, we will start our journey back towards Srinagar.
Along the way, we will visit the Kashmiri Cricket Bat Factory, where famous cricket bats, a unique souvenir of Kashmir, are made.
We will also make a stop at Apple Valley, a scenic area known for its apple orchards, and the Walnut Plantations.
Upon arrival in Srinagar, we will check in to the hotel for a 3-night stay.
Dinner and breakfast will be served at the hotel, offering a variety of delicious local Kashmiri cuisines.

After breakfast at the hotel in Srinagar, we will depart for Gulmarg, known as the 'Meadow of Flowers'.
The journey will take approximately 2 hours and cover a distance of about 50 kilometres from Srinagar.
Upon arrival in Gulmarg, we will experience the famous Gulmarg Gondola Ride, one of the highest cable cars in the world.
We will travel to the Apharwat Point at an altitude of 13,000 feet in the second phase of the Gondola.
Once we reach the Apharwat Point, you can play in the snow, take photographs, and enjoy the breathtaking surroundings.
For those seeking more adventure, skiing and snowboarding activities are available (at your own cost).
After spending ample time in the snow and enjoying the activities, we will return to Srinagar in the afternoon.
Upon arrival in Srinagar, we will have some free time for shopping.
This is an excellent opportunity to purchase local handicrafts, woollen garments, and famous Kashmiri products like Pashmina shawls and carpets.
In the evening, you’ll check into the hotel in Srinagar for a night stay.
Dinner will be served at the hotel, featuring a selection of traditional Kashmiri dishes.
After a wholesome breakfast at the hotel, we will begin our day with a trek to Shankaracharya Hill.
This trek is approximately 2 km and will take around 45 minutes to 1 hour to reach the summit.
The hill offers stunning panoramic views of the city of Srinagar, Dal Lake, and the surrounding mountains.
After the trek, we will return to the hotel for some rest and proceed to Dal Lake for the iconic Shikara ride.
The ride will last about one hour, during which you will glide across the serene waters of the lake, surrounded by the majestic Himalayas.
Following the Shikara ride, we will visit Nehru Park, a beautiful spot on Dal Lake known for its lush greenery and peaceful atmosphere.
In the afternoon, we will visit two of Srinagar’s most famous gardens – Shalimar Bagh and Nishat Bagh.
These Mughal-era gardens are known for their historical significance and beautiful landscaping, featuring terraced lawns, fountains, and vibrant flowers.
If our visit coincides with the Tulip season, we will make an additional stop at the Tulip Garden for an unforgettable experience of colourful tulip fields in full bloom.
After a day full of sightseeing, you will return to your hotel for a night's stay.
A delicious dinner featuring local Kashmiri dishes will be served at the hotel.
The day begins with a delicious breakfast at the hotel, marking the last meal of this memorable journey.
After breakfast, it’s time to check out from the hotel.
You will proceed to the Srinagar Airport.

👉 In case your package needs to be canceled due to any natural calamity, weather conditions, etc. SkyHike reserves the right to deny a refund request in the event of a disaster, depending on the nature of the disaster and its impact on the organization.
👉 Sky Hike reserves the right to modify the itinerary at any point, due to reasons including but not limited to Force Majeure events, strikes, fairs, festivals, weather conditions, traffic problems, cancellation rescheduling, closure of /entry restrictions at a place of visit, etc. While we will do our best to make suitable alternate arrangements, we will not be held liable for any refunds/compensation claims arising out of this.

👉 To confirm your Trek/Trip booking, a 30% advance payment is necessary. Once we receive your deposit, we'll send you a confirmation email with all the details, Invoice & due amount, and payment date.
👉 If cancellation is made 30 days or more before the Date of Travel, 25% of the total Booking Cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
👉 If cancellation is made between 29 days to 16 days before the date of travel, 50% of the total Booking Cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
👉 If cancellation is made between 7 days to 15 days before the date of travel, 80% of the total Booking Cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

👉 We recommend avoiding going on adventure trips with young children below the age of 7 years including Dham Yatra. The Dham Yatra has a demanding itinerary that can be challenging for young children.
👉 Children under 5 years old are free of charge. However, Please note that this typically applies to one child per paying adult. Additional children under 5 Y/O may require a separate seat or pay a discounted fare.
👉 Children between 6 and 12 years old will be charged 70% of the adult travel cost (per person).

Sheikh ul-Alam International Airport (SXR): The easiest and quickest way to reach Srinagar is by air. The airport is well-connected to major cities in India, such as Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, and more. Many airlines operate regular flights to Srinagar. This Airport is 15 kilometers away from the city.
By Train
Closest Railway Station: The nearest major railway station is Jammu Tawi (JAT), located about 250 km from Srinagar. From Jammu, you can take a taxi, bus, or shared cab to reach Srinagar.

J&K State Road Transport Corporation (JKSRTC): Buses run by J&K State Road Transport Corporation (JKSRTC) and private operators are available from Delhi/ Chandigarh/ Jammu/ Amritsar/ Pathankot to Srinagar.
