Your adventure begins in Delhi, where you'll board an overnight Volvo bus to Shimla. Upon arrival, you'll check into your cozy hotel and head to Narkanda, a picturesque hill station with stunning views of Hatu Peak. Savor local cuisine and relax in your hotel.


As you journey through the Himalayas, you'll discover hidden gems like Chitkul, the last village on the Indo-China border, and Kalpa, nestled in the foothills of Kinner Kailash. Explore ancient monasteries, vibrant markets, and serene lakes, interacting with locals and trying regional delicacies.


In Kaza, you'll uncover the secrets of the Spiti Valley, visiting Gue's 500-year-old mummy, Tabo's ancient monastery, and Dhankar's stunning valley. Take in the breathtaking views of Hikkim's highest post office, Langza's Buddha statue, and Komic's picturesque village. The pièce de résistance is Chandrataal Lake, renowned for its stunning beauty. Unwind and capture majestic Himalayan views, surrounded by tranquility and serenity.


Finally, head to Manali, exploring local markets and enjoying a relaxing dinner. Your journey concludes with an overnight Volvo bus ride back to Delhi, reflecting on the unforgettable experiences you've had.

Itinerary

Day 1 Day 1: Delhi to Shimla (Overnight Volvo Bus)
  • Report to the designated bus station in Delhi by the evening to board our private vehicle bound for Shimla.
  • Upon boarding, take a moment to grab a snack and get settled into your comfortable seat, preparing yourself for a relaxing overnight journey to the picturesque hill station.
  • During the night, enjoy the tranquil views of the Himalayan foothills, visible through the bus windows, and drift off to sleep, knowing that tomorrow will bring breathtaking scenery and unforgettable experiences.
Day 2 Day 2: Shimla to Narkanda (Drive 180 km, 5 hours)
  • Upon arrival in Shimla early this morning, our representatives will escort you to your cozy hotel, where you'll have the opportunity to check-in and get settled.
  • After checking into your hotel, take a few moments to freshen up and prepare for the day's excursion to Narkanda.
  • Then we'll have a delicious breakfast.
  • We will then depart Shimla and lead you on a scenic drive to Narkanda, where you'll have the chance to explore the picturesque surroundings.
  • During your time in Narkanda, we'll take you to visit the majestic Hatu Peak, which offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape and a tranquil atmosphere.
  • As the day comes to a close, have a delicious dinner prepared by our team. 
  • After dinner, retire to the comfort of your hotel.
Day 3 Day 3: Narkanda to Chitkul (Drive 220 km, 6 hours) to Kalpa
  • We begin your day with breakfast, providing the energy needed for the exciting journey ahead to Chitkul, the last village on the Indo-China border.
  • Following breakfast, we'll go on a scenic ride to Chitkul, with stunning vistas, lush forests, and rugged mountains.
  • As you approach Chitkul, take time to appreciate the unique charm of this remote village, nestled at the edge of the Indian border.
  • After exploring Chitkul, we'll proceed to Kalpa, a picturesque town in the foothills of the majestic Kinner Kailash mountain range.
  • In Kalpa, explore the ancient monasteries that hold significant cultural and historical importance.
  • As the day comes to a close, unwind with a warm cup of evening tea.
  • Finally, enjoy a delicious dinner and then go to sleep.
Day 4 Day 4: Kalpa to Nako (Drive 110 km, 4 hours)
  • We'll kickstart the day with a delicious breakfast.
  • Next, we'll visit the renowned Kalpa Monastery, a sacred site steeped in history and spiritual significance.
  • Following your monastery visit, we'll depart for Nako village, spectacularly situated 3600 meters above sea level, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding Himalayan landscape.
  • Upon arrival in Nako, explore the ancient monasteries that dot the village.
  • Visit the serene Nako Lake, a stunning natural wonder that enhances the village's beauty and tranquility.
  • As the day draws to a close, we'll provide a delicious dinner carefully prepared to showcase the region's unique flavors.
  • Then head back to your rooms for a peaceful sleep. 
Day 5 Day 5: Nako to Kaza (Drive 120 km, 4 hours)
  • We begin your day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel.
  • After breakfast, we’ll begin bike ride to Kaza, the largest town in the Lahaul and Spiti Valley. The ride will cover approximately 70 kilometers and take about 3 to 4 hours, allowing time for exploration and breaks along the way.
  • En route, we’ll stop to visit Gue, where you can see the 500-year-old mummy.
  • Next, we’ll explore Tabo’s ancient monastery, known for its stunning murals and peaceful atmosphere.
  • As we continue our journey, we’ll take in the breathtaking views of the Dhankar Valley, a perfect spot for photographs and appreciating the natural beauty of the area.
  • Upon arriving in Kaza, we’ll check into comfortable hotel, where you can unwind and relax after a day of exploration.
  • At night, enjoy a meal carefully prepared by us and then then retire to your room. 
Day 6 Day 6: Kaza Sightseeing
  • After breakfast, we’ll head out to Hikkim to visit the record-breaking post office, which is known as the highest post office in the world. This unique site is about 30 kilometers from Kaza and takes approximately 1 hour to reach by vehicle.
  • Next, we’ll travel to Langza, where you can see the ancient Buddha statue that overlooks the village, a symbol of peace and spirituality. The drive to Langza will take about 20 minutes and cover around 10 kilometers, allowing for some picturesque views along the way.
  • Continuing our journey, we’ll explore Komic, one of the highest villages in Asia. The drive to Komic will take around 30 minutes and cover approximately 12 kilometers. This charming village offers a glimpse into the traditional lifestyle of the locals.
  • Afterward, we’ll visit Key Monastery, a historic spiritual landmark that is about 20 kilometers from Komic and takes around 30 minutes to reach. Here, you can appreciate the stunning architecture and serene atmosphere.
  • Throughout the day, we’ll take breaks to enjoy local snacks, allowing you to savor the flavors of the region while soaking up the breathtaking views.
  • In the evening, we’ll return to your hotel in Kaza, where dinner and evening snacks will be provided.
Day 7 Day 7: Kaza to Chandrataal (Drive 100 km, 3 hours)
  • We'll begin day with a hearty breakfast, carefully prepared to provide the energy needed for the exciting journey ahead to Chandrataal Lake.
  • Following breakfast, we'll drive to Chandrataal Lake, a breathtaking lake renowned for its stunning beauty and picturesque surroundings.
  • Upon arrival at the lake, take time to unpack and unwind, allowing yourself to fully appreciate the tranquil atmosphere and majestic Himalayan views.
  • We'll reach our campsite where we will set up our Swiss Tents. You can explore the scenic location while we prepare for a warm meal. 
  • Capture breathtaking photos of the lake's crystal-clear waters.
  • At night, enjoy your dinner while taking in the breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding mountains, bathed in the soft glow of the stars at night.
Day 8 Day 8: Chandrataal to Manali (Drive 120 km, 4 hours)
  • After breakfast, we’ll drive to Manali, a picturesque hill station nestled in the Himalayas. The drive will take approximately 8 hours, covering a distance of about 300 kilometers. Along the way, you can enjoy the scenic beauty of the mountains and valleys.
  • Upon arrival in Manali, you’ll check into the hotel, where you can freshen up and relax. The hotel is well-equipped to ensure a pleasant stay, with amenities that cater to your needs.
  • Once you’re settled, feel free to explore the vibrant local markets
  • In the evening, we’ll provide you with a relaxing dinner.
  • Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay in Manali, and have an amazing sleep.
Day 9 Day 9: Manali to Delhi (Overnight Volvo Bus)
  • Start your day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel.
  • After breakfast, take some time to enjoy the serene surroundings of Manali.
  • Check out from your hotel, and we’ll assist you with your luggage as you prepare to leave this enchanting destination.
  • In the evening, you will board the arranged vehicle for your return journey to Delhi. The ride will take approximately 12 hours, covering a distance of about 570 kilometers.

  1. Plan for unpredictable weather: Shimla's climate can change quickly, with sudden rain or snowfall. Pack layers, including warm clothing and waterproof gear, and check forecasts before traveling.
  2. Shimla is a popular hill station, especially during peak season (April-June and December-January). Book Skyhike ahead of time.
  3. Respect local environment and regulations: Shimla is a plastic-free zone and has strict waste management rules. Carry reusable bags, water bottles, and minimize waste generation. Also, follow local traffic and parking regulations.

  • 👉 While entering passenger names during the booking process, Do ensure that they exactly match the names on the travel documents (e.g. Aadhar Crad/PAN card/ Passport/Voter ID card/Any Identity Card) that you will be carrying for the Trip/Trek.

  • 👉 The passenger names in the booking form should be exactly as per Adhar Card. Sky Hike will not bear any liability for the name change fee if incorrect names and ages have been added at the time of booking.

  • 👉 In case your package needs to be canceled due to any natural calamity, weather conditions, etc. SkyHike reserves the right to deny a refund request in the event of a disaster, depending on the nature of the disaster and its impact on the organization.

  • 👉 Sky Hike reserves the right to modify the itinerary at any point, due to reasons including but not limited to Force Majeure events, strikes, fairs, festivals, weather conditions, traffic problems, cancellation rescheduling, closure of /entry restrictions at a place of visit, etc. While we will do our best to make suitable alternate arrangements, we will not be held liable for any refunds/compensation claims arising out of this.

Payment Policies

👉 100.0% of the total Trip/Trek cost will have to be paid 7 days before the Date of Travel.

👉 To confirm your Trek/Trip booking, a 30% advance payment is necessary. Once we receive your deposit, we'll send you a confirmation email with all the details, Invoice & due amount, and payment date.

 

Cancelation & Refund Policy

👉 If cancellation is made 30 days or more before the Date of Travel, 25% of the total Booking Cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

👉 If cancellation is made between 29 days to 16 days before the date of travel, 50% of the total Booking Cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

👉 If cancellation is made between 7 days to 15 days before the date of travel, 80% of the total Booking Cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

👉 If cancellation is made within 7 days before the date of travel, the total booking cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

👉 If payment is not made as per the schedule provided in the first booking confirmation Email, Sky Hike reserves the right to cancel the booking after attempting to get in touch with you. Refunds would be as per the package Cancellation policy.

👉 Transfer your Trek/Trip (any Trek/Trip, within 2 months of your Date of Travel) to your friend before 15 days of your Date of Travel.

👉 70% cash voucher in the form of 'HikeCoin' for any other Trip/Trek for one year, If we are informed before 20 days of the date of travel. (1 Rupees = 10 HikeCoin)

👉 80% cash voucher in the form of 'HikeCoin' for the same Trip/Trek for one year. If we are informed before 20 days of the date of travel. (1 Rupee = 10 HikeCoin)

👉 The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 business days.

 

Child Policy

👉 We recommend avoiding going on adventure trips with young children below the age of 7 years including Dham Yatra. The Dham Yatra has a demanding itinerary that can be challenging for young children.

👉 Children under 5 years old are free of charge. However, Please note that this typically applies to one child per paying adult. Additional children under 5 Y/O may require a separate seat or pay a discounted fare.

👉 Children between 6 and 12 years old will be charged 70% of the adult travel cost (per person).

👉 Children 13 years and older will be charged the full adult travel cost.

👉 Please be sure to provide the accurate age of all traveling children at the time of booking.

👉 Documentation proving a child's age may be required during check-in (e.g., birth certificate, Adhar Card/Passport).
