Day 1 Guwahati to Shillong via Umiam Lake

After arrival assistance, begin your scenic drive towards Shillong, the capital city of Meghalaya.
The journey from Guwahati to Shillong takes you through beautiful roads, green surroundings, hill views and changing landscapes.
On the way, stop at Umiam Lake, a peaceful reservoir surrounded by pine forests and rolling hills.
Spend some time enjoying the lake view, clicking photographs and taking in the calm atmosphere.
Continue the drive towards Shillong and reach by afternoon or evening depending on road and traffic conditions.
Check in to the hotel and relax after the journey.
In the evening, you may visit Ward’s Lake or explore Police Bazaar for local food, cafés, shopping and city vibes as per available time.
Overnight stay will be arranged at the hotel in Shillong.

Day 2 Shillong to Mawphlang and Saitsama

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel in Shillong.
After breakfast, check out and begin your drive towards Mawphlang.
Visit Mawphlang Sacred Forest, one of Meghalaya’s most culturally important natural sites, known for its ancient trees, sacred traditions, forest trails and Khasi tribal beliefs.
Take a guided walk inside the forest and experience the peaceful surroundings, unique plants, stones and local stories connected with the sacred grove.
Later, enjoy a short walk on the David Scott Trail, a historic route known for scenic landscapes, rolling hills, open meadows and old-world charm.

Day 5 Dawki to Cherrapunji via Mawlynnong Tour

Wake up to a peaceful riverside morning in Shnongpdeng.
Enjoy breakfast at the camp or homestay.
After breakfast, check out and proceed towards Dawki.
Spend time near the famous Umngot River, known for its clear water and beautiful river views.
Enjoy boating at Dawki or Shnongpdeng as per package confirmation and local conditions.
After the river experience, continue the journey towards Mawlynnong Village.
Explore Mawlynnong, known for its clean village lanes, bamboo walkways, flower-lined paths, local homes and peaceful village lifestyle.
Visit the Balancing Rock and nearby village viewpoints as per available time.
You may also visit the local living root bridge near Mawlynnong depending on timing and route conditions.
Later, begin the drive towards Cherrapunji, also known as Sohra.

Day 6 Cherrapunji Sightseeing and Root Bridge Trek

Visit Mawsmai Cave, one of the most popular limestone caves in Meghalaya, known for its walk-through passages and natural formations.
Visit Seven Sisters Falls, a famous multi-segment waterfall viewpoint in Cherrapunji, subject to weather and visibility.
Later, proceed towards the starting point of the Single Root Bridge and Double Decker Living Root Bridge trek.
Begin the trek through forest trails, stone steps, streams and lush green surroundings.
The trek to Double Decker Living Root Bridge is one of Meghalaya’s most iconic experiences and requires good fitness.

Last-minute No-Show: 100% cancellation charges applicable. No reschedule. No refund.
👉 If payment is not made as per the schedule provided in the first booking confirmation Email, Sky Hike reserves the right to cancel the booking after attempting to get in touch with you. Refunds will be issued as per the package cancellation policy.
👉 Transfer your Trek/Trip (any Trek/Trip, within 2 months of your Date of Travel) to your friend before 15 days of your Date of Travel. However, your friend will be eligible for the transfer only if they have not booked any trip/trek with us and have yet to travel.
👉 You can only transfer your Trip or Trek to those friends or People who haven’t booked any trip with us in a given time period.
👉 80% cash voucher in the form of 'HikeCoin' for any other Trip/Trek for one year, if we are informed before 20 days of the date of travel. (1 Rupees = 10 HikeCoin)
👉 90% cash voucher in the form of 'HikeCoin' for the same Trip/Trek for one year. If we are informed 20 days before the date of travel, (1 Rupee = 10 HikeCoin)
👉 The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 business days.
👉 The company is not liable for compensation beyond the tour cost.
👉 Non-Refundable Items: Flight/train/bus tickets once issued are non-refundable.
👉 Permit fees, forest entry charges, or third-party service charges are non-refundable.
👉 Flight/train/bus tickets once issued are non-refundable unless the carrier’s official policy allows cancellation with a refund.
👉 Flight/train/bus tickets applicable refunds will be processed as per the terms of that organization or Booking Portal, and service charges (if any) will be deducted.
👉 No refund will be made for partially utilized services like early check-out, skipped meals, missed sightseeing, or transport.
👉 If sightseeing tickets have been pre-booked, refund eligibility will depend on the official cancellation policy of the issuing authority or managing organization of that specific attraction.

Payment & Confirmation Policies

👉 100.0% of the total Trip/Trek cost will have to be paid 7 days before the Date of Travel.
👉 Booking will be considered confirmed only after a minimum advance payment of 30% of the total package cost.
👉 Once we receive your deposit, we'll send you a confirmation email with all the details, the Invoice & due amount, and the payment date.
👉 Failure to make a timely payment may result in auto-cancellation without prior notice.
👉 Valid ID proof (Aadhar card, passport, etc.) must be submitted at the time of booking.
👉 For international trips, passport copies with a minimum of 6 months' validity and visa documents must be submitted as per deadlines.
👉 Payments accepted via UPI, Net Banking, Credit/Debit Cards, or bank transfers.
👉 Payments made via Credit/Debit Card may attract an additional payment gateway charge (as per the gateway's fee structure).
👉 Cash payments (if any) must be acknowledged with an official receipt.
👉 If you choose to book flight, train, or bus tickets through SkyHike’s team, Full payment is required to issue flight, train, or bus tickets.
👉 Transport ticket prices are dynamic. Final fare will be as per the live rates visible on the booking portals at the time of processing. Any price difference from previous quotes will be chargeable.
