A 3 day Himalayan road trip covering Harshil Valley, Nelong Valley, Gangotri Dham, Lama Top trek, and Bagori Village. Expect long but scenic mountain drives, river views, apple orchards, Swiss tent stay, and a mix of spiritual and offbeat experiences.

Early morning pickup from Haridwar by SkyHike vehicle. You will begin your journey towards Harshil, covering approximately 270 km through the mountains.
The route passes through Rishikesh, Chamba, Dharasu, and Uttarkashi. For long stretches, you will drive alongside the Bhagirathi River, with pine forests and mountain curves making the journey scenic and steady.
As you approach Harshil, apple orchards begin to appear around the valley. By evening, reach Harshil and check in to Swiss tents arranged by the SkyHike team.
The evening is free to relax and enjoy the quiet Himalayan surroundings. Dinner will be served at the campsite.

Distance: ~60–70 km (excluding Nelong internal movement) | Travel Time: 3–4 hrs (excluding sightseeing time)
After early breakfast, depart towards Nelong Valley via Lanka Bridge. Nelong Valley is a restricted high altitude area close to the Indo China border and entry is subject to permit availability.
The drive into Nelong takes you through stark, barren landscapes that feel completely different from the green valleys below. Wooden bridges, sharp cliffs, and wide open mountain views define this region.
After exploring Nelong, if time permits and entry is early, you may proceed towards Gartang Gali, which involves an adventurous wooden hanging trail of approximately 2 km. The SkyHike team will guide you through the visit.
Later, continue towards Gangotri Dham, located about 25 km from Harshil. On arrival, visit Gangotri Temple, Bhagirath Shila, and attend the evening Ganga Aarti by the river.
Overnight stay in Gangotri, followed by a warm dinner.

After early breakfast, begin your day with a short trek of approximately 2.5 km to Lama Top. The trail offers clear views of the valley and surrounding peaks.
You will also visit Bagori Village, known for its traditional wooden houses and local Himalayan culture. Spending time here gives a glimpse into the simple mountain lifestyle.
After completing the morning visits, begin your return journey towards Haridwar, covering approximately 270 km through Uttarkashi, Chamba, and Rishikesh.
The drive usually takes 8 to 9 hours depending on road conditions. Late evening drop will be provided at Haridwar.
