Itinerary

Day 1 Haridwar to Sersi (Drive 223km, 6 Hrs)
  • Upon your arrival at Haridwar Airport or Railway Station, our friendly representative will greet you and guide you to your scenic drive to Sersi, a beautiful town in the Garhwal Himalayas.
  • The journey covers about 219 kilometers and takes around 8 hours, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the stunning views of hills and valleys from the comfort of our Tempo Traveler or private vehicle.
  • Once we reach Sersi, we’ll check you into our cozy hotel, where you can freshen up and relax after the long drive. The hotel offers comfortable accommodations with all the amenities you need for a pleasant stay.
  • In the evening, take some time to explore the local market, where you can pick up unique souvenirs and enjoy some delicious local food for dinner, which will be served at the hotel.
  • This is also a great chance to meet fellow travelers and chat with locals, who can teach you a few basic phrases in the local language, adding to your experience.

Day 2 Sersi to Sonprayag (Drive 8 Km, 30 Mins); Trek to Kedarnath (Trek 18km, 10 Hrs)
  • On the next day, we will have breakfast before starting our drive to Sonprayag, the starting point of the Kedarnath trek.
  • The drive will take approximately 30 minutes and cover about 20 kilometers, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys as we make our way to Sonprayag in our private vehicle.
  • Once we arrive in Sonprayag, we’ll begin our trek to Kedarnath, which is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva.
  • The trek is approximately 21 kilometers long and may take around 7 to 8 hours, depending on your pace. Along the way, take in the breathtaking scenery of the majestic mountains and lush valleys.
  • We’ll stop at Gaurikund for lunch and refreshments, where you can also take a moment to explore the area.
  • After a break, we’ll continue our trek, passing through scenic villages and tranquil forests. The journey can be challenging, but the beautiful landscapes and spiritual ambiance make it all worthwhile.
  • As we approach Kedarnath, you’ll witness the spectacular evening aarti at the Kedarnath Temple, a truly unforgettable experience that will leave you feeling spiritually uplifted.

Day 3 Kedarnath to Ukhimath (Drive 38km, 2 Hrs)
  • On the third day, you’ll wake up early to witness the stunning golden sunrise views of Kedarnath Temple—a sight that will leave you spellbound.
  • After soaking in the beauty of the morning, enjoy a delicious breakfast at your hotel, fueling you for the day ahead.
  • Today, we’ll explore the ancient Bhairavnath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva.
  • This nearby temple is known for its spiritual significance and captivating architecture. After your visit, we’ll begin our trek back to Gaurikund, which is approximately 16 kilometers and will take about 5 to 6 hours, allowing you to take in the breathtaking scenery one more time.
  • Once we reach Gaurikund, we’ll board our private vehicle for a drive to Ukhimath, covering around 35 kilometers in about 1.5 hours.
  • Upon arrival in Ukhimath, we’ll visit the Omkareshwar Temple, the winter home of the Kedarnath Doli, where you can admire its beautiful architecture and spiritual ambiance.
  • After our visit to the temple, we’ll check into our hotel in Ukhimath, which provides comfortable accommodations to help you relax after a long day of trekking and exploration.
  • Dinner will be served at the hotel, featuring delicious vegetarian dishes that will leave you feeling satisfied.

Day 4 Ukhimath to Badrinath (Drive 168km , 6 Hrs)
  • On this day, we'll start our day with breakfast.
  • Then we’ll begin by visiting the Omkareshwar Temple for morning prayers, immersing ourselves in the spiritual atmosphere.
  • After our visit, we’ll start our drive to Badrinath, one of the four Char Dham pilgrimage sites, which is approximately 130 kilometers away and will take around 5 to 6 hours to reach.
  • As we drive through the scenic landscapes, we’ll pass through the stunning Chopta Valley. If time permits, you can explore this beautiful area, known for its picturesque meadows and lush forests.
  • Here, you’ll have the opportunity to take a short trek to Tungnath Temple, which is the highest Shiva temple in the world. The trek to Tungnath is about 5 kilometers one way and typically takes around 2 to 3 hours.
  • Upon reaching Tungnath, we’ll pay our respects to Lord Shiva and take in the breathtaking views from the temple, surrounded by the majestic Himalayas. After our spiritual experience, we’ll trek back down and continue our drive to Badrinath.
  • Once we arrive in Badrinath, we’ll quickly check into your hotel, where comfortable accommodations await you.
  • After settling in, enjoy a fulfilling dinner at the hotel, featuring delicious vegetarian meals that will nourish you after a long day.

Day 5 Badrinath to Srinagar (Drive 184km, 5.5 Hrs)
  • Today is dedicated to visiting Badrinath Dham, one of the holiest pilgrimage sites in India.
  • After a hearty breakfast at your hotel, we’ll head to Tapt Kund, where you can take a rejuvenating warm bath in the natural thermal spring, known for its healing properties.
  • After your refreshing dip, we’ll visit key sites around Badrinath, including Narad Kund and Brahma Kapal, which are significant in Hindu mythology.
  • You’ll also have the opportunity to explore Mana Village, the last inhabited village in India before Tibet, where you can immerse yourself in the local culture and stunning landscapes.
  • Following our visit to Badrinath, we will drive to Joshimath, a historic town known for its ancient temples and shrines.
  • Here, you can take some time to explore the area and soak in the spiritual vibes.
  • After our exploration, we’ll continue our drive to Srinagar, which is approximately 182 kilometers away and will take around 7 hours to reach.

  • After breakfast, we’ll set off for Rishikesh, a spiritual town renowned for its yoga and meditation centers, located approximately 140 kilometers away.
  • The drive will take around 5 hours, providing you with scenic views of the mountains and rivers along the way.
  • Upon arrival in Rishikesh, you’ll have time to explore the vibrant local market, where you can find unique souvenirs and handmade crafts to remember your trip.
  • You’ll also have the chance to visit the iconic Lakshman Jhula and Ram Jhula bridges, which offer stunning views of the Ganges River and the surrounding hills.

👉 The passenger names in the booking form should be exactly as per Adhar Card. Sky Hike will not bear any liability for the name change fee if incorrect names and ages have been added at the time of booking.

👉 In case your package needs to be canceled due to any natural calamity, weather conditions, etc. SkyHike reserves the right to deny a refund request in the event of a disaster, depending on the nature of the disaster and its impact on the organization.

👉 Sky Hike reserves the right to modify the itinerary at any point, due to reasons including but not limited to Force Majeure events, strikes, fairs, festivals, weather conditions, traffic problems, cancellation rescheduling, closure of /entry restrictions at a place of visit, etc. While we will do our best to make suitable alternate arrangements, we will not be held liable for any refunds/compensation claims arising out of this.

Haridwar itself doesn't have an airport. The nearest airport is Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun, which is about 52 kilometers away. You can take a flight to Dehradun from major cities in India, and then hire a taxi or cab to reach Haridwar.

By Train: Haridwar Junction Railway Station HW

Haridwar Junction Railway Station is well-connected to major cities across India. Trains are a convenient and budget-friendly option to reach Haridwar. Several express trains connect Haridwar to almost all major cities.

By Bus : Haridwar ISBT

Haridwar is well-connected by buses to major cities and towns in North India. You can take a government or private bus from your starting point to Haridwar. Government buses are generally cheaper, while private buses may offer more amenities.

Cancelation & Refund Policy

👉 If cancellation is made 30 days or more before the Date of Travel, 25% of the total Booking Cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

👉 If cancellation is made between 29 days to 16 days before the date of travel, 50% of the total Booking Cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

👉 If cancellation is made between 7 days to 15 days before the date of travel, 80% of the total Booking Cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

👉 If cancellation is made within 7 days before the date of travel, the total booking cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

👉 If payment is not made as per the schedule provided in the first booking confirmation Email, Sky Hike reserves the right to cancel the booking after attempting to get in touch with you. Refunds would be as per the package Cancellation policy.

👉 Transfer your Trek/Trip (any Trek/Trip, within 2 months of your Date of Travel) to your friend before 15 days of your Date of Travel.

👉 70% cash voucher in the form of 'HikeCoin' for any other Trip/Trek for one year, If we are informed before 20 days of the date of travel. (1 Rupees = 10 HikeCoin)

👉 80% cash voucher in the form of 'HikeCoin' for the same Trip/Trek for one year. If we are informed before 20 days of the date of travel. (1 Rupee = 10 HikeCoin)

👉 The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 business days.

 

Child Policy

👉 We recommend avoiding going on adventure trips with young children below the age of 7 years including Dham Yatra. The Dham Yatra has a demanding itinerary that can be challenging for young children.

👉 Children under 5 years old are free of charge. However, Please note that this typically applies to one child per paying adult. Additional children under 5 Y/O may require a separate seat or pay a discounted fare.

👉 Children between 6 and 12 years old will be charged 70% of the adult travel cost (per person).

👉 Children 13 years and older will be charged the full adult travel cost.

👉 Please be sure to provide the accurate age of all traveling children at the time of booking.

👉 Documentation proving a child's age may be required during check-in (e.g., birth certificate, Adhar Card/Passport).
