Day 1 Day 1: Delhi To Mcleodganj (Drive 479 Km, 10hr 20min)
  • Your journey begins with a private cab ride from Delhi to the scenic town of McLeod Ganj, located in the beautiful mountains of Himachal Pradesh. 
  • The drive will take you through picturesque valleys and winding roads, offering a glimpse of the natural beauty that awaits you.
  • Upon arrival, you will check into a hotel  in Dharamshala. 
  • A delicious breakfast is included as part of your stay, and to ensure your comfort, a hearty dinner will also be provided at the hotel. 
  • Spend the evening relaxing in the cozy ambiance of your hotel, taking in the peaceful surroundings, and preparing for the exciting explorations planned for tomorrow.

Day 2 Day 2: Explore Chamunda Devi Temple
  • Start your day with a fulfilling breakfast at your chosen accommodation. 
  • Afterward, a private cab will take you to the revered Chamunda Devi Temple, a significant Shakti Peeth dedicated to Goddess Chamunda. 
  • Nestled amidst the scenic landscape, the temple provides a peaceful ambiance for devotees to offer prayers and seek blessings.
  • Following your darshan at the temple, your journey continues as we head back to Dharamshala for local sightseeing. 
  • Your first stop will be the iconic Dharamshala Cricket Stadium, one of the highest sports grounds in the world, surrounded by snow-capped mountains and lush greenery.
  • Next, enjoy a leisurely stroll through the picturesque Tea Gardens of Dharamshala, where you can witness the beauty of the green tea plantations and breathe in the fresh mountain air.

Day 3 Day 3: Local Sightseeing of Mcleodganj
  • After a hearty breakfast, a private car will take you on a local sightseeing tour around McLeodGanj. 
  • Your first stop will be the revered Bhagsu Nag Temple, a place of spiritual significance dedicated to Lord Shiva. 
  • After visiting the temple, you’ll embark on a peaceful 20-30 minute walk to the BhagsuNag Waterfall, a beautiful natural spot where you can relax by the cascading waters and enjoy the surrounding greenery.
  • Next, you’ll visit the Tsuglagkhang Complex, also known as the Dalai Lama Temple, which holds great importance as the spiritual and political center of Tibetan Buddhism. 
  • The temple is a serene place to meditate and reflect, while also learning more about Tibetan culture.
  • Your exploration continues with a visit to the Kalachakra Temple, located in the bustling Tibetan market. 
  • This temple is dedicated to the teachings of the Kalachakra and is an important site for devotees.

Day 4 Day 4: MacLeod Ganj to Delhi (Drive 517 Km, 12 hr)

  1. Dress modestly and respectfully: Chamunda Devi is a sacred Hindu temple. Avoid revealing clothing and remove shoes before entering.
  2. Plan according to weather: Best time to visit: March-May and September-November. Avoid monsoons (June-August) due to landslides.
  3. Prepare for steep stairs: The temple is situated on a hilltop, requiring a climb of around 400 stairs.

Terms & Conditions

👉 While entering passenger names during the booking process, Do ensure that they exactly match the names on the travel documents (e.g. Aadhar Crad/PAN card/ Passport/Voter ID card/Any Identity Card) that you will be carrying for the Trip/Trek.

👉 The passenger names in the booking form should be exactly as per Adhar Card. Sky Hike will not bear any liability for the name change fee if incorrect names and ages have been added at the time of booking.

👉 In case your package needs to be canceled due to any natural calamity, weather conditions, etc. SkyHike reserves the right to deny a refund request in the event of a disaster, depending on the nature of the disaster and its impact on the organization.

👉 Sky Hike reserves the right to modify the itinerary at any point, due to reasons including but not limited to Force Majeure events, strikes, fairs, festivals, weather conditions, traffic problems, cancellation rescheduling, closure of /entry restrictions at a place of visit, etc. While we will do our best to make suitable alternate arrangements, we will not be held liable for any refunds/compensation claims arising out of this.

 

Payment Policies

👉 100.0% of the total Trip/Trek cost will have to be paid 7 days before the Date of Travel.

👉 To confirm your Trek/Trip booking, a 30% advance payment is necessary. Once we receive your deposit, we'll send you a confirmation email with all the details, Invoice & due amount, and payment date.

 

Cancelation & Refund Policy

👉 If cancellation is made 30 days or more before the Date of Travel, 25% of the total Booking Cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

👉 If cancellation is made between 29 days to 16 days before the date of travel, 50% of the total Booking Cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

👉 If cancellation is made between 7 days to 15 days before the date of travel, 80% of the total Booking Cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

👉 If cancellation is made within 7 days before the date of travel, the total booking cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

👉 If payment is not made as per the schedule provided in the first booking confirmation Email, Sky Hike reserves the right to cancel the booking after attempting to get in touch with you. Refunds would be as per the package Cancellation policy.

👉 Transfer your Trek/Trip (any Trek/Trip, within 2 months of your Date of Travel) to your friend before 15 days of your Date of Travel.

👉 70% cash voucher in the form of 'HikeCoin' for any other Trip/Trek for one year, If we are informed before 20 days of the date of travel. (1 Rupees = 10 HikeCoin)

👉 80% cash voucher in the form of 'HikeCoin' for the same Trip/Trek for one year. If we are informed before 20 days of the date of travel. (1 Rupee = 10 HikeCoin)

👉 The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 business days.

 

Child Policy

👉 We recommend avoiding going on adventure trips with young children below the age of 7 years including Dham Yatra. The Dham Yatra has a demanding itinerary that can be challenging for young children.

👉 Children under 5 years old are free of charge. However, Please note that this typically applies to one child per paying adult. Additional children under 5 Y/O may require a separate seat or pay a discounted fare.

👉 Children between 6 and 12 years old will be charged 70% of the adult travel cost (per person).

👉 Children 13 years and older will be charged the full adult travel cost.

👉 Please be sure to provide the accurate age of all traveling children at the time of booking.

👉 Documentation proving a child's age may be required during check-in (e.g., birth certificate, Adhar Card/Passport).
