Day 1 Haridwar to Sersi (Drive 223km, 6 Hrs)
  • Upon your arrival at the Haridwar airport or railway station, a friendly Skyhike representative will greet you and guide you to your private vehicle for the scenic drive to Sersi, a charming town tucked away in the Garhwal Himalayas.
  • The journey covers around 200 kilometers, typically taking about 7 hours.
  • You’ll have the chance to take in breathtaking views of the rolling hills, deep valleys, and lush forests along the way.
  • On reaching Sersi, we’ll check you into your cozy hotel, where you can freshen up and relax after the drive.

Day 2 Sersi to Sonprayag (Drive 8 Km, 30 Mins); Trek to Kedarnath (Trek 18km, 10 Hrs)
  • On the next day, we’ll set out for Sonprayag, the starting point of your trek to Kedarnath, one of the revered 12 Jyotirlingas dedicated to Lord Shiva.
  • Our journey to Sonprayag covers approximately 20 kilometers and takes about an hour by private vehicle, allowing you to soak in the beautiful mountain views along the way.
  • Once we arrive at Sonprayag, you’ll begin the scenic trek to Kedarnath. You have the choice to trek on foot or, if preferred, hire a pony or doli for an additional cost.
  • As you ascend, enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and lush valleys.
  • We’ll take a break at Gaurikund, the halfway point, where you can relax and have lunch at a local spot.

Day 3 Kedarnath to Ukhimath (Drive 38km, 2 Hrs)
  • This is your third day, and it begins with an early wake-up to witness the golden sunrise over Kedarnath Temple—a sight that’s sure to leave you in awe.
  • After taking in this beautiful moment, you’ll have a chance to explore the ancient Bhairavnath Temple, a revered site dedicated to Lord Shiva, located nearby.
  • Following your visit, we’ll start the trek back to Gaurikund, where you can rest briefly and refresh after the journey.
  • From Gaurikund, we’ll drive to Ukhimath in your private vehicle. The scenic drive covers approximately 47 kilometers and takes around 2-3 hours, offering you fantastic views of the surrounding hills and valleys.
  • Upon reaching Ukhimath, you’ll have the opportunity to visit the Omkareshwar Temple, which serves as the winter home of the Kedarnath Doli. This temple holds great cultural significance and is known for its peaceful atmosphere.

  • On this day, we’ll begin our journey by visiting the Omkareshwar Temple to offer morning prayers, setting a spiritual tone for the day ahead.
  • Afterward, we’ll drive to Badrinath, one of the four Char Dham pilgrimage sites, covering a distance of approximately 175 kilometers, which takes about 6-7 hours, depending on road conditions.
  • As we travel, we’ll pass through the picturesque Chopta Valley, where, if time permits, you’ll have the chance to explore its stunning meadows and forests.
  • If you wish and time allows, we can also embark on a trek to Tungnath Temple, the highest Shiva temple in the world, which is about a 5-kilometer trek from Chopta.

👉 If cancellation is made 30 days or more before the Date of Travel, 25% of the total Booking Cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

👉 If cancellation is made between 29 days to 16 days before the date of travel, 50% of the total Booking Cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

👉 If cancellation is made between 7 days to 15 days before the date of travel, 80% of the total Booking Cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

👉 If cancellation is made within 7 days before the date of travel, the total booking cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

👉 If payment is not made as per the schedule provided in the first booking confirmation Email, Sky Hike reserves the right to cancel the booking after attempting to get in touch with you. Refunds would be as per the package Cancellation policy.

👉 Transfer your Trek/Trip (any Trek/Trip, within 2 months of your Date of Travel) to your friend before 15 days of your Date of Travel.

👉 70% cash voucher in the form of 'HikeCoin' for any other Trip/Trek for one year, If we are informed before 20 days of the date of travel. (1 Rupees = 10 HikeCoin)

👉 80% cash voucher in the form of 'HikeCoin' for the same Trip/Trek for one year. If we are informed before 20 days of the date of travel. (1 Rupee = 10 HikeCoin)

👉 The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 business days.

 

Child Policy

👉 We recommend avoiding going on adventure trips with young children below the age of 7 years including Dham Yatra. The Dham Yatra has a demanding itinerary that can be challenging for young children.

👉 Children under 5 years old are free of charge. However, Please note that this typically applies to one child per paying adult. Additional children under 5 Y/O may require a separate seat or pay a discounted fare.

👉 Children between 6 and 12 years old will be charged 70% of the adult travel cost (per person).

👉 Children 13 years and older will be charged the full adult travel cost.

👉 Please be sure to provide the accurate age of all traveling children at the time of booking.

👉 Documentation proving a child's age may be required during check-in (e.g., birth certificate, Adhar Card/Passport).

Haridwar itself doesn't have an airport. The nearest airport is Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun, which is about 52 kilometers away. You can take a flight to Dehradun from major cities in India, and then hire a taxi or cab to reach Haridwar.

By Train: Haridwar Junction Railway Station HW

Haridwar Junction Railway Station is well-connected to major cities across India. Trains are a convenient and budget-friendly option to reach Haridwar. Several express trains connect Haridwar to almost all major cities.

👉 While entering passenger names during the booking process, Do ensure that they exactly match the names on the travel documents (e.g. Aadhar Crad/PAN card/ Passport/Voter ID card/Any Identity Card) that you will be carrying for the Trip/Trek.

👉 The passenger names in the booking form should be exactly as per Adhar Card. Sky Hike will not bear any liability for the name change fee if incorrect names and ages have been added at the time of booking.

👉 In case your package needs to be canceled due to any natural calamity, weather conditions, etc. SkyHike reserves the right to deny a refund request in the event of a disaster, depending on the nature of the disaster and its impact on the organization.

👉 Sky Hike reserves the right to modify the itinerary at any point, due to reasons including but not limited to Force Majeure events, strikes, fairs, festivals, weather conditions, traffic problems, cancellation rescheduling, closure of /entry restrictions at a place of visit, etc. While we will do our best to make suitable alternate arrangements, we will not be held liable for any refunds/compensation claims arising out of this.
