Badrinath is one of the four holy Char Dham destinations and also a part of the Panch Badri circuit. According to Hindu mythology, it is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, who is worshipped here as Badrinarayan. The temple holds great importance for Vaishnavites and devotees seeking spiritual liberation (moksha).

Day 1 Arrival at Haridwar & Journey to Phata

  • Board your comfortable Force Tempo Traveler and set off towards Guptkashi/Phata/Sersi/Sitapur, soaking in the serene morning vibes as you pass through Rishikesh.
  • Stop at a quaint restaurant or highway dhaba for a hearty breakfast (at your own cost), recharging for the day ahead.
  • Pause Devprayag to admire the mesmerizing confluence of the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda rivers, forming the sacred Ganga.
  • Capture the beauty of this divine union in your memories and photographs.
  • At Srinagar, seek blessings at the revered Dhari Devi Temple, nestled amid picturesque surroundings, and feel the spiritual energy of this sacred site.
  • Stop at Rudraprayag to marvel at the meeting point of the Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers, surrounded by lush green landscapes and pristine waters.
  • Arrive at Phata by Evening: A charming hill station as the sun sets, offering breathtaking views of the Himalayas like Chaukhambha Peak

Day 2 Trekking to Kedarnath – A Spiritual Odyssey Amidst Majestic Peaks
  • Wake up early in the morning and greet the dawn with a delicious breakfast at the hotel, fueling your spirit for the day ahead
  • Embark on a scenic drive from Phata to Sitapur/Sonprayag in our comfortable vehicle. Sonprayag: The gateway to your pilgrimage.
  • From Sonprayag, hop on a shared taxi (fare not included) for a thrilling ride to Gaurikund, nestled amidst the majestic Himalayas. This short journey of 5 kilometers will take about 30-40 minutes.
  • The fare of a shared Taxi would be approx 60 rupees per pax on one side.
  • Arrive at Gaurikund, a holy site revered by Hindus. This serene spot serves as the base camp for your trek to Kedarnath.
  • Gaurikund is believed to be the sacred site where Goddess Parvati meditated to win Lord Shiva's love, making it a significant stop on the Kedarnath Yatra.
  • Start your 20-km trek to Kedarnath, a challenging yet rewarding journey through awe-inspiring landscapes. 
  • For your convenience, options like Porters, Ponies/Mules, or Dolis (palanquins) are available for hire (not included in the package). Our experienced Trek Leader will assist you in arranging these

  • Reach Ukhimath & Visit the Omkareshwar Temple, a 12th-century temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, the "Winter Abode of Lord Kedarnath."

  • After paying your respects at Omkareshwar Mandir, come back to your hotel in Ukhimath. The distance from your Ukhimath to Omkareshwar Temple is approx 1 km.

  • Stand humbled before Tungnath Temple, the highest Shiva temple in the world and a revered site of the Panch Kedar pilgrimage. Immerse yourself in spiritual bliss with a serene pooja darshan.
  • If time permits, venture further to Chandrashila Peak. The 1 km trek from Tungnath takes around 30 minutes, promising breathtaking 360-degree views of the majestic Himalayan ranges.
  • Bask in the tranquility and grandeur atop Chandrashila. Let the panoramic vistas etch unforgettable memories into your heart.
  • Return to Chopta, soaking in the scenic beauty once again.
  • If the trek feels overwhelming, our trek leader can assist you in arranging porters, ponies, or palanquins (not included in the package) for a more comfortable journey.
  • If you are not in the mood for another trek? Simply stay in the vehicle and enjoy the stunning surroundings from your seat.
  • Depart for the sacred town of Badrinath, traveling approximately 140 kilometers in 4 to 5 hours through picturesque mountain roads.
  • As the day fades, reach your hotel in Badrinath, savor a warm dinner, and rest after a fulfilling day of exploration and spiritual bliss.

    Note:- To experience the complete Chopta Chandrashila trek, it is essential to start your day early from Ukhimath. A delayed departure may require skipping Tungnath and heading directly to Badrinath.
Day 5 Badrinath & Explore Mana Village & Drive to Srinagar, Overnight stay at Srinagar.

Cancelation & Refund Policy

👉 If cancellation is made 30 days or more before the Date of Travel, 25% of the total Booking Cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

👉 If cancellation is made between 29 days to 16 days before the date of travel, 50% of the total Booking Cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

👉 If cancellation is made between 7 days to 15 days before the date of travel, 80% of the total Booking Cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

👉 If cancellation is made within 7 days before the date of travel, the total booking cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

👉 If payment is not made as per the schedule provided in the first booking confirmation Email, Sky Hike reserves the right to cancel the booking after attempting to get in touch with you. Refunds would be as per the package Cancellation policy.

👉 Transfer your Trek/Trip (any Trek/Trip, within 2 months of your Date of Travel) to your friend before 15 days of your Date of Travel.

Child Policy

👉 We recommend avoiding going on adventure trips with young children below the age of 7 years including Dham Yatra. The Dham Yatra has a demanding itinerary that can be challenging for young children.

👉 Children under 5 years old are free of charge. However, Please note that this typically applies to one child per paying adult. Additional children under 5 Y/O may require a separate seat or pay a discounted fare.

👉 Children between 6 and 12 years old will be charged 70% of the adult travel cost (per person).

👉 Children 13 years and older will be charged the full adult travel cost.

👉 Please be sure to provide the accurate age of all traveling children at the time of booking.

👉 Documentation proving a child's age may be required during check-in (e.g., birth certificate, Adhar Card/Passport).

Haridwar itself doesn't have an airport. The nearest airport is Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun, which is about 52 kilometers away. You can take a flight to Dehradun from major cities in India, and then hire a taxi or cab to reach Haridwar.

By Train: Haridwar Junction Railway Station HW

Haridwar Junction Railway Station is well-connected to major cities across India. Trains are a convenient and budget-friendly option to reach Haridwar. Several express trains connect Haridwar to almost all major cities.

  • Karnaprayag: Confluence of the Alaknanda and Pindar rivers. This Prayag is associated with Karna from the Mahabharata, who is believed to have meditated here and received boons from Lord Surya (the Sun God).

👉 To confirm your Trek/Trip booking, a 30% advance payment is necessary. Once we receive your deposit, we'll send you a confirmation email with all the details, Invoice & due amount, and payment date.

👉 While entering passenger names during the booking process, Do ensure that they exactly match the names on the travel documents (e.g. Aadhar Crad/PAN card/ Passport/Voter ID card/Any Identity Card) that you will be carrying for the Trip/Trek.

👉 The passenger names in the booking form should be exactly as per Adhar Card. Sky Hike will not bear any liability for the name change fee if incorrect names and ages have been added at the time of booking.

👉 In case your package needs to be canceled due to any natural calamity, weather conditions, etc. SkyHike reserves the right to deny a refund request in the event of a disaster, depending on the nature of the disaster and its impact on the organization.

👉 Sky Hike reserves the right to modify the itinerary at any point, due to reasons including but not limited to Force Majeure events, strikes, fairs, festivals, weather conditions, traffic problems, cancellation rescheduling, closure of /entry restrictions at a place of visit, etc. While we will do our best to make suitable alternate arrangements, we will not be held liable for any refunds/compensation claims arising out of this.
