Itinerary

Day 1 Day 1: Arrival in Shimla & Drive to Janglik Base Camp (Drive 146 Km, 6 Hrs)

Today marks the start of an epic adventure as we pick you up from Shimla early in the morning.
From there, we will drive to Janglik Base Camp, the gateway to the breathtaking Buran Ghati trek.
Get comfortable, grab a snack, and enjoy the scenic 6-hour drive alongside the stunning Pabbar River, covering a distance of approximately 160 kilometers.
During the drive, you'll pass through picturesque villages, lush tea gardens, and mixed forests, creating a beautiful backdrop for our journey.
We’ll take breaks along the way to stretch our legs and refuel, ensuring everyone is refreshed and ready for the adventure ahead.
As we arrive at Janglik, you will check into your cozy camp, arranged by us for your comfort, and have time to freshen up.
After settling in, take a stroll around the charming village, where you can interact with the locals and soak in the serene atmosphere of the region.
This is also a great opportunity to get familiar with your trek team over a warm cup of tea, where they will brief you on the exciting days ahead.
In the evening, enjoy a hearty dinner prepared for you, providing the perfect ending to your first day of adventure.
After dinner, take some time to relax and then head off to rest, rejuvenating for the thrilling trek that awaits you tomorrow!

Day 2 Day 2: Trek from Janglik to Dayara Thach (Trek 5 Km, 3 Hrs)

Today’s trek takes us through enchanting forests and meadows, offering a delightful experience in nature.
We’ll begin with a gentle 30-minute ascent, which will warm us up for the day ahead.
This will be followed by a gradual 1-hour descent, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful landscapes around us.
Finally, we’ll begin a scenic two-hour trek that will lead us to our campsite, which is surrounded by stunning meadows and snow-capped mountains.
During our trek, we will witness beautifully crafted wheat fields, charming wooden farmhouses, and majestic villages, each adding to the charm of our adventure.
We’ll take breaks at scenic spots along the way, providing opportunities to soak in the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and capture memorable photographs.
Upon arriving at our campsite, we will set up our tents, which are of good quality and provided by us for your comfort.
Once settled, take some time to relax, read a book, or simply gaze at the stars above, enjoying the tranquility of the mountains.
As night falls, it’s time to enjoy a delicious dinner prepared for you, satisfying the end of an exciting day of trekking.
After dinner, you can unwind and prepare for a restful night’s sleep, rejuvenating for another adventurous day ahead!

Day 3 Day 3: Trek from Dayara Thach to Litham

Today’s trek is a visual treat, and we’ll start the day with an early breakfast to fuel our adventure.
After breakfast, we will plan for the exciting day ahead, filled with stunning landscapes and natural beauty.
Our trek will take us through dense forests, wide green meadows, and gushing streams, offering a rich variety of scenery.
The trail leads us to Litham, where we will be greeted with breathtaking views of the Dhauladhar range, making every step worthwhile.
Throughout the day, we’ll cross streams, gently climb, and descend through enchanting silver birch forests, providing a unique experience of the region's biodiversity.
As we trek, take in the majestic snow-lined cliffs and picturesque valleys that surround us.
Remember to refill your water bottles at the streams along the way to stay hydrated and energized.
Upon reaching our campsite, you’ll find it nestled among towering snow-clad mountains, creating a serene and picturesque environment for the night.
In the evening, enjoy a warm dinner prepared for you, allowing you to relax and recharge after a fulfilling day of trekking.

Day 4 Day 4: Excursion to Chandranahan Lake

Get ready for an exciting excursion to Chandranahan Lake on day 4!
After a hearty breakfast, we’ll begin our trekking journey, ensuring everyone is energized for the adventure ahead.
Our trek will start by crossing a stream, where you’ll feel the refreshing mountain water beneath your feet.
From there, we’ll follow the shepherd's trail, gradually climbing to the ridge top, where the views begin to unfold.
As we reach the top, prepare to witness the stunning Chandranahan Lake, beautifully nestled among snow-capped mountains and picturesque valleys, creating a breathtaking backdrop.
Throughout the trek, we’ll take breaks to soak in the serenity of the landscape and capture breathtaking moments with your camera.
After spending time at the lake, we’ll begin our descent back to Litham, reflecting on the day’s adventure and the beauty we’ve experienced.
Upon arriving at our campsite, we’ll set up for the night, ready to unwind after a rewarding day of trekking.
In the evening, we’ll gather around a campfire, sharing stories and laughter as we enjoy a delicious dinner prepared for you.
After dinner, take a moment to enjoy the peacefulness of the mountains before settling in for a restful night under the stars.

Day 5 Day 5: Trek from Litham to Nalabansh

Let’s start the day with a warm and hearty breakfast to fuel our adventure ahead.
Today’s trek takes us to Nalabansh, the perfect base for tomorrow’s Buran Pass assault, ensuring everyone is prepared for the challenges ahead.
The trail will lead us through snow-covered landscapes, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
We will embark on a climb to the ridge top, following the well-marked shepherd's trail that guides us through this stunning terrain.
As we ascend, take a moment to witness the stunning Buran Ghati and the trail that leads to it, showcasing the beauty of the region.
The trek will cover approximately 8 kilometers, and we expect it to take around 4-5 hours, depending on the group’s pace and stops along the way.
Upon reaching Nalabansh, we’ll set up our tents, which are provided by us for your comfort, surrounded by magnificent snow-capped mountains.
After settling in, we’ll gather for dinner, enjoying a warm meal as we share stories and experiences from the day’s trek.
Finally, get a good night’s rest in preparation for the exciting day ahead.

Day 6 Day 6: Trek from Nalabansh to Munirang via Buran Ghati

Get ready to conquer Buran Ghati trek today with Skyhike!
But first, enjoy your morning meal to refuel your body and prepare for the adventure ahead.
After breakfast, we’ll begin our journey, setting off on an exhilarating trek.
We'll follow the ridge, passing through boulders and steadily climbing to the pass, where you’ll be greeted by pretty views from the top.
This trek will cover approximately 10 kilometers and is expected to take around 6-7 hours, depending on the group’s pace and the number of breaks taken along the way.
As we ascend, take a moment to appreciate the breathtaking scenery that unfolds around you.
After reaching the summit and soaking in the stunning vistas, we’ll begin our careful descent, where the landscape transitions as we lose altitude quickly and reach the end of the snow line.
Upon arriving at our campsite in Munirang, you’ll find yourself surrounded by lush green valleys and towering mountains.
We’ll serve you a hot dinner that is fulfilling and tasty, allowing everyone to recharge after an exciting day of trekking.
As the day winds down, take a moment to celebrate your achievement with your trek mates.
Now it's time to prepare for a well-deserved night’s rest.

Day 7 Day 7: Departure from Munirang to Barua Village

This is the final day of this incredible journey together.
After enjoying a hearty breakfast to energize you for the day ahead, we’ll begin our descent to Barua Village.
The trek will take us through diverse vegetation and picturesque landscapes, showcasing the natural beauty of the region.
We'll follow the Barua Khud, crossing streams and witnessing stunning views along the way, making this descent a memorable experience.
The trek covers approximately 7 kilometers and is expected to take around 3-4 hours, allowing us to take breaks and appreciate the scenery.
As we approach the village, we’ll enter through a charming arch that signifies the end of our trek.
Upon reaching Barua Village, we’ll celebrate the completion of this epic adventure together and reflect on the memories we’ve created along the way.

👉 Prices quoted are valid for 24 hours only. After that, all rates are subject to availability and may change without prior notice.
👉 In Accommodations, Standard check-in/check-out time applies (12 PM/11 AM unless stated otherwise).
👉 In case of unavailability of accommodations, equivalent category hotels/resorts/homestays will be provided.
👉 While entering passenger names during the booking process, do ensure that they exactly match the names on the travel documents (e.g., Aadhar Card/PAN card/ Passport/Voter ID card/Any Identity Card) that you will be carrying for the Trip/Trek.
👉 The passenger names in the booking form should be exactly as per Adhar Card/PAN card/ Passport/Voter ID card/Any Identity Card. Sky Hike will not bear any liability for the name change fee if incorrect names and ages have been added at the time of booking.
👉 In case your package needs to be canceled due to any natural calamity, weather conditions, etc. SkyHike reserves the right to deny a refund request in the event of a disaster, depending on the nature of the disaster and its impact on the organization.
👉 Sky Hike reserves the right to modify the itinerary at any point, due to reasons including but not limited to Force Majeure events, strikes, fairs, festivals, weather conditions, traffic problems, cancellation, rescheduling, closure of /entry restrictions at a place of visit, etc. While we will do our best to make suitable alternate arrangements, we will not be held liable for any refunds/compensation claims arising out of this.
👉 SkyHike is not liable for loss, injury, or damage to person or property caused due to natural calamities or accidents.
👉Travelers/Trekkers must take full responsibility for their personal belongings.
👉Travel Insurance is not included unless mentioned. Strongly recommended for high-risk destinations or international travel.

Payment & Confirmation Policies

👉 100.0% of the total Trip/Trek cost will have to be paid 7 days before the Date of Travel.
👉 Booking will be considered confirmed only after a minimum advance payment of 30% of the total package cost.
👉 Once we receive your deposit, we'll send you a confirmation email with all the details, the Invoice & due amount, and the payment date.
👉 Failure to make a timely payment may result in auto-cancellation without prior notice.
👉 Valid ID proof (Aadhar card, passport, etc.) must be submitted at the time of booking.
👉 For international trips, passport copies with a minimum of 6 months' validity and visa documents must be submitted as per deadlines.
👉 Payments accepted via UPI, Net Banking, Credit/Debit Cards, or bank transfers.
👉 Payments made via Credit/Debit Card may attract an additional payment gateway charge (as per the gateway's fee structure).
👉 Cash payments (if any) must be acknowledged with an official receipt.
👉 If you choose to book flight, train, or bus tickets through SkyHike’s team, Full payment is required to issue flight, train, or bus tickets.
👉 Transport ticket prices are dynamic. Final fare will be as per the live rates visible on the booking portals at the time of processing. Any price difference from previous quotes will be chargeable.

Cancelation & Refund Policy

👉 The advance amount is non-refundable.
👉 The guest is eligible to request a refund only if the paid booking amount exceeds 30%.
👉 If cancellation is made 30 days or more before the Date of Travel, 30% of the total Booking Cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
👉 If cancellation is made between 29 days to 16 days before the date of travel, 50% of the total Booking Cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
👉 If cancellation is made between 7 days to 15 days before the date of travel, 80% of the total Booking Cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
👉 If cancellation is made within 7 days before the date of travel, the total booking cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
Last-minute No-Show: 100% cancellation charges applicable. No reschedule. No refund.
👉 If payment is not made as per the schedule provided in the first booking confirmation Email, Sky Hike reserves the right to cancel the booking after attempting to get in touch with you. Refunds will be issued as per the package cancellation policy.
👉 Transfer your Trek/Trip (any Trek/Trip, within 2 months of your Date of Travel) to your friend before 15 days of your Date of Travel. However, your friend will be eligible for the transfer only if they have not booked any trip/trek with us and have yet to travel.
👉 You can only transfer your Trip or Trek to those friends or People who haven’t booked any trip with us in a given time period.
👉 80% cash voucher in the form of 'HikeCoin' for any other Trip/Trek for one year, if we are informed before 20 days of the date of travel. (1 Rupees = 10 HikeCoin)
👉 90% cash voucher in the form of 'HikeCoin' for the same Trip/Trek for one year. If we are informed 20 days before the date of travel, (1 Rupee = 10 HikeCoin)
👉 The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 business days.
👉 The company is not liable for compensation beyond the tour cost.
👉 Non-Refundable Items: Flight/train/bus tickets once issued are non-refundable.
👉 Permit fees, forest entry charges, or third-party service charges are non-refundable.
👉 Flight/train/bus tickets once issued are non-refundable unless the carrier’s official policy allows cancellation with a refund.
👉 Flight/train/bus tickets applicable refunds will be processed as per the terms of that organization or Booking Portal, and service charges (if any) will be deducted.
👉 No refund will be made for partially utilized services like early check-out, skipped meals, missed sightseeing, or transport.
👉 If sightseeing tickets have been pre-booked, refund eligibility will depend on the official cancellation policy of the issuing authority or managing organization of that specific attraction.

Child Policy

👉 We recommend avoiding going on adventure trips with young children below the age of 7 years, including Dham Yatra. The Dham Yatra has a demanding itinerary that can be challenging for young children.
👉 Children under 5 years old are free of charge. However, please note that this typically applies to one child per paying couple. Additional children under 5 Y/O may require a separate seat or pay a discounted fare.
👉 Children between 6 and 12 years old will be charged 70% of the adult travel cost (per person).
👉 Children 12 years and older will be charged the full adult travel cost.
👉 Please be sure to provide the accurate age of all traveling children at the time of booking.
👉 Documentation proving a child's age may be required during check-in (e.g., birth certificate, Adhar Card/Passport).

How to Reach Shimla

To reach Shimla, you have several options:

By Bus: You can take a direct bus from Delhi to Shimla. Various private and government buses operate on this route.
By Train: You can travel to Kalka by train, which is the nearest broad gauge railway station (89 km away). From Kalka, you can take a toy train or a taxi to reach Shimla. The journey from Kalka to Shimla takes about 6 hours.
By Plane: The nearest airport is in Jubbarhatti, about 22 km from Shimla. You can take a flight from major cities like Delhi or Chandigarh to Jubbarhatti. From the airport, you can hire a taxi or take a local bus to reach Shimla.
